The food was fabulous! I was really surprised how good it was and the presentation was wonderful. The owner came to my table, he is super friendly, and I told him it was my first time at his restaurant. I asked him what I should order and he called the waitress over and ordered something special for me. I could not have had a better experience. I had the Sea Bass over dirty rice, asparagus, sauteed green beans, and blackened shrimp. Don’t forget to order the fried banana peppers. They were phenomenal!

Enjoyed dinner tonight with friends. The steak and salmon was grilled to perfection. Side dishes were delicious too. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day. Owner dropped by our table twice to welcome and check on us. Our waitress was great as well. Swainsboro is lucky to have such a great place to dine.

3 of 4 people we asked for a restaurant recommendation suggested The Stockyard. Staff was very friendly.
We started with the fried peppers and crab dip. Peppers were awesome but the crab dip didn’t have any crab flavor.
She had the pork chop which was very flavorful but tough to cut. I had the crab cakes which didn’t have much crab flavor.
The beer and wine were good.
We would definitely go back but try different menu items.

Had a family meet up and found the stockyard through google. Restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and the aroma was fantastic. We tried the duck wontons, fried banana peppers, crab soup and had salads, tacos and blackened shrimp. All were prepared perfectly. We plan to go back and would highly recommend stopping by and trying this restaurant!

Came here after a college softball game….just found it on Google and went based on reviews. They did not disappoint! Super friendly staff and we were seated quickly. Had menus and drinks within minutes. The food was amazing and we received it in a timely manner. I highly recommend The Stockyard!

Ordered lunch a Swainsboro burger with steak potatoes and calamari. The calamari was great the burger was just dry no flavor to it very dry. The other was a Philly sandwich with steamed asparagus the asparagus was to salty and not thoroughly cooked and Philly sandwich was extremely dry . We both had tea sweet tea was to watered down. Nice atmosphere not saying food was not good just were very dry meats . Thank you.

I found my time here to be comfortable and fairly straightforward. The environment was orderly, and the staff kept a calm, respectful tone throughout. The visit didn’t feel rushed or drawn out, and everything happened in a way that felt routine and familiar. There were no issues that caught my attention.
