Last night I hosted a surprise 50th birthday party at The Stief, and it was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a beautiful venue to host a party or special event, The Stief is the perfect place.
Michelle, the owner, was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was extremely responsive to all of my questions, very accommodating throughout the planning process, and very reasonably priced. She made the entire process easy and stress-free.
The space itself is elegant and such a great setting for an event. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful it was. Brendan, the bartender, was fantastic and took great care of everyone all night.
At the end of the evening her staff helped with cleanup, which is appreciated so much after hosting a big party. Everything ran smoothly and was completely hassle-free.
I would highly recommend The Stief for birthday parties, celebrations, or any private event. We had an amazing night and I’m so glad we chose this venue!

I’ve stopped there twice from Toronto to Boston. Before the renovation were complete. Great selection of beer at exceptionally reasonable prices. I can.t wait to stop again and check out the new pub/ Lounge. Great history on the building

Nice place to sit, talk and have drinks since the remodel. Cozy, warm atmosphere with a not too intrusive wait staff. Relaxed, casual and fun. Drinks are reasonably priced as well as reasonably boozy and the pretzels are amazing.

Drinks were good, as usual. The atmosphere was good. It wasn’t that many people in there at the time. I just don’t like moving to the other side when it’s slow. Security was a great help.

Came from out of town with a friend for a night out and had a great time. DJ (I think his name was Oh Kane) was freaking awesome, I was surprised at how good he was. Great mix of all genres like reggaeton, house, edm, rap, etc!!!!

I had a Saturday special, turkey sandwich with stuffing. Very good, although small. They use ordinary store bread, as opposed to another style which would have been larger. Onion rings and fries are good too. My wife didnt care for the tasteless burger.
Bar decor was very nice. I liked the shelf with the hole for your drink in the mens bathroom that will be renovated next week. The other mens bathroom was done over, nice blend of modern, rustic and original brickwork.
We might come back, maybe by which time the lovely bartender will remember what a Sam Adams is.

Awesome venue. Wide range of Beverage selections, decent staff, price(s) are not bad ( a few things are over priced ) a Great place to Hang Out with Family and Friends.
