We stopped here for drinks on a Saturday night in January after seeing a show at the Avalon. We did not get food and this is the only picture I took.

We had seen it on the map and one of us likes bourbon so we needed to check it out. They have an extensive scotch list and some other cocktails. I had a gin drink that was excellent.

The service staff are friendly and professional. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet cozy. Lighting was dim and it almost felt Iike it was candlelit. Don’t come in here and sit in a comfortable chair if you are sleepy, it relaxing and you might fall asleep.

Prices are what you should expect for a cocktail bar speciality in scotch.

We were parked in a lot near the Avalon and walked. Even in January it was an easy couple of blocks and we had no concerns with safety. There is street parking all around town and right out front.

We had a good time.

It was our first time visiting The Stewart and we were looking forward to a new Bluepoint Hospitality offering. Rest assured, we were not disappointed!

The ambiance was very comfortable and the service team was impeccable! Neither of us are scotch drinkers, but the team made us delightful alternatives. The food was wonderful as we shared 4 different menu items, each perfectly crafted.

Yes, it was our first time at The Stewart, but it won’t be out last!

Enjoy this gem!

Traveling for work has its challenges, but discovering a gem like The Stewart in Easton, MD is the best kind of silver lining. I was looking for a spot with a great bar and a strong wine list—and this place delivered.

The space is intimate, cozy, and beautifully designed. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered their Old Fashioned made with Lowlands scotch—fantastic. The bartender was warm, knowledgeable, and fun to chat with (especially about glassware, which they clearly care about).

Dinner was a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak with sweet potatoes, broccoli rabe, and a soy ginger reduction. The wine list impressed me more than most I’ve seen since moving from San Francisco. I had a French Syrah by the glass, served in the most featherlight stemware.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If I’d had room, I’d have tried the toffee pudding—but I’ll be back. Can’t wait to return with my husband so he can enjoy the scotch collection too.

We had a great time at The Stewart (our first time). It’s really more of a clubby lounge meant for drinks. They have an amazing beverage list including cocktails, whisk(e)y and wine. We chose champagne and had an excellent bottle from a small grower. The food is now limited to a handful of small plates so don’t expect to get a dinner entree here.
Ali and Adam took care of us and were so much fun. Adam has an excellent grasp of all drinks and shared some fun stories of travels and tastings.

After coming here many times, finally leaving a review. What a gem the Stewert is–we came on Wednesday for the hamburger special–and my husband said this morning that it might have been the best hamburger he’s ever had. Which should say a lot, because he’s in the Wimpy category of hamburger lovers. Homemade bun, the most savory two beef patties, perfectly done. We started with Rob Roy cocktails, which bar manager Adam made expertly. Phenomenal. And then shared some fried olives and the spring pea risotto. It was a lovely date night. Highly recommend. Kelsey and all the staff are so welcoming, and will help you find the perfect thing to eat or drink.

$190 pp for delicate but tiny bites. Be cautious with what they billed.
