Every time we come to Orange Beach or Gulf Shores we always reserve one meal of our stay for The Steamer! We get a large platter and we love it. I do wish they’d add a kids’ fish meal option because that’s what my son wanted, but we had to order him an adult Mahi Mahi dinner and an appetizer of bread for his meal. The food is always good so far!

This place was great. We were in gulf shores for a week and the steamer had the best seafood and prices out of our whole trip. The establishment is a little small but the food is well worth it. Alex was our server at the bar and she was awesome. She had great conversation, made sure we knew the best things to do in town and never left our glass empty. Make sure to try the steamer out if you are in the area.

Amazing seafood and great service! We got the seafood platter for 2 and it was the perfect amount for 2 people to finish. I loved everything we got! Highly recommend the oysters Rockefeller. Some lady came and sat near us and complained that she was allergic to seafood and her chicken tastes like fish. Like why come to a seafood restaurant?? Sorry that the sweet waitress had to deal with that utter stupidity but everything from the steamer was wonderful and we will be back.

Place was great, and does takeout orders from the bar! We did the little lagoon steamer tray, and it was fantastic. We almost killed it with two of us, but could have fed 3 or 4 depending on the appetite! We ate here multiple times while we were in town. Lots of good options!

The oysters were wonderful. I got to choose 3 flavors. My favorite was the charbroiled. The waitress was kind and knowledgeable. We were seated right away and our food did not take long to get there.

I’ve been in Gulf Shores for 3 days, eating at the highest rated restaurants and this is the best seafood I have had. The others were all fried with very little seasoning and very little taste. Service by Natisha was excellent and will return back every day we remain in Gulf Shores.
