We had a wonderful dinner at the Steak House at the Silver Reef. We have only been there 1 other time, so the reviews about how it was vs. how it is don’t really apply.
We had some great wine, we all had Caesar Salad ( I hear it used to be made at the table) made in the kitchen, and a couple of us had the French Onion soup, which was great!
The 14oz. Rib Eye, Medium Rare, was amazing, and the mashed potatoes and the Asparagus were hot and delicious.

I would definitely go back and I think it was a great meal…

We had a great dinner on a Friday night. Incredible server John was attentive and patient, made our dinner so fulfilling. Food was excellent we had the Escargots (14 for 10$ !) Beef tartre, tomahawk steak with lobster mac cheese and mashed spinach. With a casino card you get a 10% discount. Total bill ended up being 162 without the tip. John tried to make sure we had the best price also as he was able to tweak the system so we saved money on sides.
We had plenty of leftovers and very full.

This is a lovely restaurant that we have been to several times. It is a gorgeous, handsome restaurant with comfortable booths and tables. We like to sit in the front room versus the back because we feel it is nicer and quieter, as it seems they put the larger groups in the back room. The last two times we have been there, our server was Isaiah, who was very personable and knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed having him as our waiter.
Regarding the food, the lobster bisque is excellent and very flavorful, the giant prawns are delicious and salads are very good. We have shared the Châteaubriand between the two of us and it was so much food, we couldn’t even finish it with all the vegetables and potatoes that came with it. The last time we were there, it was a Sunday, which is the only day they have their prime rib, which my husband ordered. I had the most delicious short rib ever, bone in with so much flavor and about the most tender piece of meat I have ever had, and I have eaten at many high-end places with excellent meat. My husband said the prime rib was great and I had a bite of it and I agree, but after he had a bite of my short rib, he said that next time he would order that! On top of that, they serve Anna’s Bread rosemary rolls which were delicious; I buy Anna’s Bread in town sometimes as it is so good!
When I called to make the reservation, I did tell the woman taking the reservation that it was our 46th anniversary, but I was surprised that no dessert was offered for that, but I have to say that we were really too full to even eat dessert! I remember in the past, they would extend a complimentary dessert for special occasions, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. Maybe they don’t do that anymore.
All in all, every time we have been there it has been delicious and we will be going again soon for my birthday in December. I am really looking forward to it!

Hadn’t there for a while, and was sure glad we stopped in. Our food was great as always. But our waiter Tanner was excellent. Very knowledgeable and super polite. Thank-you for make night a great one. And their house wines are very good brands, so the wine prices are very reasonable for a restaurant of this calibre. Nice touch. See you soon!

This used to be our go to restaurant for a great meal! Have not been for awhile and tonight it was disgusting! Tim the server was excellent! The food was horrible. Our meal took forever and they said they didn’t see the ticket. I ordered the petite filet med rare. It came out well done. They took it back and brought me another. I cut into it and it was blue rare, it made me sick looking at it!! I gave up! I ate a few of the mashed potatoes. Watched my husband eat. They gave us a free dessert! Our bill was still $150. We were told to come back and they would comp our meal. With an evening like that who wants to come back, the meal should have been a no charge tonight! The manager should have come and talked to us as soon as she was made aware rather then us having to ask to speak to her. All dressed up out for a nice meal spent $150 and I went out and ate some pizza!!! Very disappointing… do not recommend

We went here for my husband’s birthday dinner
Our server Jessica who top notch
She started by welcoming us to the steak house and was then offering us water at the same time.
She asked if we were there for any specific reason or was it just for dinner.
That’s when I told her that we were there celebrating my husband birthday dinner
She noticed that we had the wine list and said that they have wine on special
It just happened to be my favorite kind of wine
Overall everything was great
The staff was very respectful and helpful
We look forward to going back
Thanks again Jessica for a wonderful night

Almost a 4 star. Porterhouse was a bit tough even tho medium rare. The highlight was the Caesar salad. Mud pie had way too much oreo! Was there for the the wife’s bday (made advanced reso’s stating ocsassion) and it was a non event for them – not a boo.

Update went to try the Prime Rib and it looked like this. Does that look good to you given you are paying premium prices?

Who would have thought that the best restaurant in the area would be tucked in the back of a casino in Ferndale? Not this guy!

This place is absolutely top notch. The quality of the food is excellent from the fresh baked bread w/infused variations of butter to the Caesar salad made in front of you, to every cut of meat being perfect, every detail is managed meticulously.

They even have a Maitre-De who periodically comes to ensure the experience is to your liking.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. There’s only downside and it’s a small one and that’s the ambience. Normally, for a restaurant like this, you’d have a nice view out the window. Because it’s a hotel, there are no windows. That said, it’s our go to place for fine dining.

Ritz Carlton prices with Applebee’s service. This used to be one of my favorite places for a nice meal. Now it is pretty sad. Food tastes good, but the service is definitely not fine dining anymore. Shrinkflation has surely hit. The carpoccio is about one or two bites for 11 dollars. Most wines on their list are out of stock. Overall disappointed.

The food was exceptional except my steak was more rare than medium. It’s very common, I guess. The only thing is I wish they would update the menu has prime rib on it. I specifically came for the prime rib, as it was my birthday. So, I was very disappointed. Shawn, our server was outstanding even with our old lady shenanigans. It was nice to go to a higher end resturant. Next time I’ll go on a Sunday when the DO have prime rib, otherwise it is not available.
