We absolutely love this café! Their caffè e latte is outstanding, rich and perfectly balanced.
What impressed us even more is the way they prepare matcha in the authentic Japanese style—a rare find outside Japan even in NY. On top of that, the staff are simply wonderful, always welcoming and attentive.

A nod to the once booming but gone steel station on 34th & 2nd, my nod goes to their breakfast and atmosphere! While it is no 5-star restaurant–nor does it pretend to be (forgetting details like the honey I ordered for my tea and forgetting to give me napkins or point me to them)–their croissant was a perfectly delicious 5 and catching an early-morning glimpse of the Empire State Building and walking past the “THINK BIG” and “Right Light” sculptures on 34th put me in the New York/Empire State of Mind!

I already posted a review, but I want to say a little more… This egg sandwich on brioche is superb… The espresso is particularly good and made with the best Italian coffee machine La Marzocco handmade in Florence, Italy. It is considered the Ferrari of coffee makers. Everything from panini, soup, tartines, bagels, and omelettes is wonderful, and the croissants are (the best in town). The interiors are simple, efficient, and very welcoming. I recommend this spot to all my genuine coffee lover friends.

Happy 1 year Anniversary!!! Come to Station for the fresh pastries, excellent quality lattes, and delicious egg breakfast options…Stay for the community. Kiril and Bobby know nearly everyone who walks through the doors asking about their day and already ringing them up for usual orders. Having moved from the west coast, I’m very picky about my lattes and soy milk is a challenge. I tried nearly every coffeeshop on my commute, and am convinced that this is the best soy latte in NYC.

The cafe has a clean, minimalist vibe that feels instantly refreshing. Today, we tried a pistachio croissant, a cream croissant, and a strawberry matcha latte. The cream croissant had a light, silky filling almost like a softer, creamier custard while the pistachio version had a thicker, richer filling with a pleasant nutty depth. Both were soft, buttery, and perfectly flaky, and the fillings added just the right balance of texture and flavor.
I enjoyed my strawberry matcha latte by the water the strawberry paste added a gentle sweetness to the earthy matcha without the need for extra sugar. Overall, a lovely experience, and I’d happily come back to this cafe again.

This cafe is truly a gem. Their pistachio croissants are unreal — flaky, flavorful, and always fresh. The team goes above and beyond every time I walk in. To say that I’m blown away by the food and service at The Station Cafe feels like an understatement.
The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association hosted its trustee meeting there and it absolutely did not disappoint. Every dish felt like it out did the one before. The entire presentation felt like magic. The owner, Bobby, is an absolute prize and a true pleasure to work with. I look forward to not only eating there but ordering catering for sure. What an amazing addition to our neighborhood.

I’ve never been a coffee shop person, and this place is so great it turned me into one. The coffee is amazing, all of the baristas are great to talk to and remember my name/order, and the food is great too. Even when they are super busy, the baristas are great at managing everyone and providing great service. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
