I’m sorry, but ain’t NO WAY these reviews are for the same disgusting place I payed $24 for chopped chicken with Mac sandwich on sliced bread smaller than bread I make a sandwich on plus fries that were sitting in dryer pan so long they were cold and rubbery. Dude had the audacity to tell me he gave me extra free of charge!! Lets not forget I had calledand ordered a pull pork sandwich long before arriving, only to get there and be told “no pulled pork order available. I should’ve walked out then! I tried eating the sandwich but couldn’t stomach it!! It went in the trash!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!! I’m very confused by the reviews!!

Came to try this place after fishing. The meat, it was good we tried the brisket and try-tip. The sides where terrible we got Mac and cheese and the mach potatoes. Both tasted of nothing but garlic.

This was a Thanksgiving order, so it was really important. We placed a 100 dollar order.
When we arrived at 11, the food was not ready. I verified with them multiple times throughout the month regarding my order and pickup time. It wasn’t ready and we waited 30 mins.
Secondly, the bread pudding was awful and cross contaminated. It tasted like meat. Ruined our dessert and I had to go get a pumpkin pie. Awful dish. And perhaps tainted.

Ordered a half rack of the pork ribs. It was my first time and the young man behind the counter kindly offered me a sample. IT TASTED FABULOUS! The meat melted right off the bone and the flavor was very,very good!

I’ll be honest when I pulled into the gas station for my BBQ dinner I was expecting the worst. What I got was the best BBQ food I’ve ever had. Being British the bar was low I admit, but my word the combination of quality, quantity and price made this stop the culinary highlight of my time in California and a much needed reminder of how great American food can be after my experience of hotel breakfasts.
The guys working there were fantastic, really friendly and even gave us some extra samples to try of their other meat items.
Being British we unfortunately cocked up and failed to give our tip to the right people. Sorry to the guys working there but in the confusion you lost $5 of tips and we arent sure why.
If you live in Fresno and you are contemplating getting a McDonald’s or KFC, don’t. Go to The Station BBQ and get a much better meal for the same price and help out a local business doing great things to great meat.
These guys deserve a proper sit down restaurant away from the gas station which really does put a downer on an otherwise hidden gem of a BBQ restaurant!
