The square peg scored great all around! They also were decorated for the holidays which made the experience so much better! The wait staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. No reservations, so we waited at one of the bars for a pre dinner cocktail. Beautifully made cocktails BTW! The food did not disappoint either. Definitely try out square peg!

Warm cozy corner restaurant/pub. Dark interior colors with lots of windows had a very inviting feeling. There are 2 bars and 3 rooms. The staff was very welcoming and the service was fast..for a very late lunch on a Saturday this place was busy! We were lucky and grabbed two seats at the main bar. The drinks are priced very reasonable $10-$14. Ordered the ahi tuna taco with chips. Very nicely seared and tasty sauce. 2 good sized tacos and the deep fried fish sandwich was ample with a side of fries. Overall this is a nice spot with a fair priced menu….will be back!

How was the Square Peg? One word, “Amazing”. Swung by a little after noon and it was packed. Well guess it’s packed for a reason. Had a Bissell Brothers IPA on draft, nice Hazy beer. Tried the bang. Bang shrimp appetizer and thought it was great. Had the bacon brie smash burger and it was amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve had. The bacon fig jam was amazing. The shoe string fries were good, would have been nice if they came with a boujee dipping sauce like a yum yum or equivalent. Great overall experience. Parking in the area isn’t the greatest. Walk your way in.

I gave them 5 stars after last 3 visits but I decided took 2 stars from it because of a poor service today.
I went there with my 6 years old son for lunch and there was no table available so we sat at the bar. My son felt uncomfortable so I asked my server to give us next available table. She said yes but never came back and gave next open table to people who came after us. We stayed at the bar until we leave. We bump into my friends with two kids who came after us. They ordered foods after us and the server gave them foods.
I asked when our foods would be served. She said she would check and didn’t come back to let us know it. I had to go to her to ask when our foods would be served. Then they said some excuses. I think they messed up the order. And gave us foods after taking for a while.
She didn’t apologize for it.
I know they were busy because it was crowded on election day. But they didn’t care young children and costumers.
After my previous three tries, I had given them 5 stars, but after today’s bad service, I chose to deduct 2 points.

Our first time visiting this restaurant.
First of all, I’m puzzled as to why I didn’t arrive sooner than today.
Second, I really enjoyed the interior’s combination of black and a dark oak tree color.
Finally, I really enjoy the cuisine.
There were so many items on the menu that my husband and I wanted to try that it was difficult to decide what we ordered.
We selected fish and chips, bang bang shrimp, and spinach and artichoke dip.
Every meal we received was excellent.
I particularly like the Bang Bang Shrimp.
My server told me the recipe after I inquired about the bang bang sauce the chef makes.
Without a doubt, I’ll give it a try at home.
I additionally desired to test Frozen pineapple cocktails next time as I couldn’t have it because of my headache today.

Second time here and its always a great experience. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive no matter how busy. The food is always great and the cocktails are well crafted. THE DESSERTS ,if you can get your hands on them, I’ve come to learn are made by the owners mother. This past week I had the pleasure of having the carrot cake and I am extremely particular about Carrot Cake. This woman is truly doing the lords work with her baking Best Carrot cake I’ve ever had. The Pistachio Cake when available is out of this world

I’m a big fan of the square peg! I’ve had the opportunity to go a few times and every order has been great. Each time we have gone we have gotten excellent service! My favorite burger is definitely the pub burger! Great house sauce and the meat is on point.
Street tacos and Mozz sticks are other favorites here for us! The pub can get really busy so make sure you arrive early! Enjoy!

My office ordered food for our luncheon, first time trying. I had the ahi tuna bowl and bang bang shrimp app. Great food and the hostess was very helpful making sure our order was complete. Parking in this area is a challenge, but the area has a great vibe and is nice to walk around especially by the water.

This was a first for us after hearing so many good reviews from friends. Not disappointing at all. We had the shaved rib eye steak sandwiches in a warm torpedo roll with fries. It was excellent. Warm tavern like atmosphere with great service. We went on a Tuesday around 3:30 and were able to seat right away. Towards 5:00 there were people waiting at the door for seating. I would say it’s a popular place with good food. I’ll definitely go back and try the other items on their menu.

Excellent delicious food. Service could have been better. Had to ask for beverage refill and no one came to ask if the food was fine until I was already done. Also waited close to 40 minutes for our meals at lunch time on a weekday. Street parking only which can be an issue.
