I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I had an idea of what to expect based on other national park restaurants and this exceeded my expectations in nearly every aspect.

Granted, when I first arrived for dinner it took quite awhile to be seated despite the restaurant not being very busy. That being said, once seated everything got much better. From most seats you can see the hot spring pools and there’s a small outdoor seating area.

The food was superb. There was a jerk chicken wings special that evening which I opted to try alongside a house salad. The clam chowder was delicious (full of clams) and the beyond burger was super tasty. While I didn’t have it, the fish & chips looked incredible. Not small little pieces but one long fillet!

The meal was so good we went back for breakfast the next day. The breakfast wasn’t quite as good and I didn’t feel the value was there but they did allow us to order the smaller kids breakfast (which was still a lot of food.) The bacon and sausage were both extremely high quality.

While many will opt to cook at their cabin or campsite I can’t recommend a meal here enough. Great service & great food!

The food and service was mediocre. But what really grinds my gears was the fact that on their menu, the “1s” and 7s” look the same. My friend thought he was ordering a Mac and cheese for $21, still pricey, but he wanted to treat himself on our special vacation together. The check comes, and we were flabbergasted that the Mac and cheese was in fact $27! Outrageous! You know you are scamming people with the font choice. Tricky and not honest! Save yourself the trouble and bring your own food, we wish we did.

Our breakfast at the resort was outstanding. I had the French toast with some kind of berry compote. It was devine! The coffee was good as well.

Jordan was an excellent server and made us feel right at home, especially when we learned he is from Alabama too.

The short version- good service, mediocre food. Not worth the price for us.

The long version- The women who seated and served us were great so 5 stars for them.
Food was nothing to write home about. Brussel sprouts had good flavor but were room temperature when given to me. BLT was very thin and sad looking- I think there was maybe 3 pieces of bacon on the sandwich. The lettuce was browning at the end and on the very edges like it had gone bad. And the condiments were sparse and not all over the bread so most of the sandwich was very dry. My husband said his burger was good but not a $28 burger.

We arrived for breakfast and were greeted by a young man whose backwards baseball cap might as well have been a billboard reading, “I don’t care, and I’m not pretending to.” Without a word, he handed us dinner menus. When we brought them back, he swapped them out with the same enthusiasm you’d expect from someone clearing junk mail—tossed carelessly back into the pile, with zero interest in sorting the mess he was perpetuating.

Our waitress was doing her best in a clearly understaffed kitchen, but that couldn’t salvage the timing: fruit, bacon, and French toast came first; my eggs lagged behind by ten full minutes—well after I’d finished everything else.

The food was forgettable, the coffee lukewarm, and the prices much too proud of themselves. Not a place we’d revisit.

The food was really good. Very generous portions. We had the burger, Brussels sprouts, and clam chowder.
Service was also really good.
BUT… it was FREEZING. So cold it made our experience pretty unpleasant.

This was such a great place to get dinner! We stopped here on our way out after hiking to the falls, and it was so good! The fish and chips are battered in house, and the tartar sauce is also house made and the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had. The burger is flame grilled, and the scenery and everything is amazing. Service was great, a little slow but that’s because they make it all FRESH when you order it. If you’re in the area absolutely stop by!

Food was less than mediocre. The waitress was awful at time management and consolidating her steps even with just a few tables. She had a hard time remembering orders and I had to ask her a few times for things – I would probably write stuff down if I was her. We waited almost 10 min to be seated and there were tables open everywhere and it wasn’t very busy. Waited forever to order and then the food was brought out with pepper on the eggs which my 5 yr old didn’t like so I asked for another egg with nothing on it. The egg was never brought and instead of not charging us less they asked if they could pack it up for us to go. Over all probably the worst dining out experience and definitely not worth what they’re charging. I realize it’s the only place restaurant in the area but hopefully they’ll hire better cooks/servers next time.
