Came here for lunch and honestly really enjoyed it and the food was delicious. The spotted tostones were really good (got the steak ones). It came with 5 which honestly filled me up but still did a traditional fritanga style with a carne asada, gallo pinto and yuca.
Restaurant was clean, decorated nice and staff were super nice and attentive.
Will be back for them spotted tostones!

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was good. The place is very clean. The service was great but slow. The staff was friendly but the food took long and the restaurant was not very busy. I do recommend the food. I had Indio Viejo and the taste was amazing . Another thing is the service charge that was included. I don’t like that at restaurants because this is aside from the tip. No complaints about the food. Tasty!

I went with high hopes of eating Nicaraguan food, but I was very disappointed. First, we waited a long time for a table. The person cleaning the tables was terrible and rude, and when they finally gave us a dirty table, we asked them to move us to the one next to it, and a very rude young man told us that it was either that table or nothing. I never thought someone could be so rude, so we left and went to another restaurant that we always go to, where the service is excellent and the food is delicious: El Cerro Negro.

Love to order churrasco from here. Just wish they had an option to be able to buy/add chimichurri sauce. Also consistency, I was bummed my order was cancelled one or two times.

I’ve been coming to Spotted Gallo since before it was even Spotted Gallo, and it’s truly a hidden gem. This wonderful family-run spot offers incredible service and consistently fresh, made-to-order food.
My go-to dishes are the carne asada with gallo pinto, repollo, and maduros, or the pescado a la plancha. You really can’t go wrong with either. And don’t skip the chicken taquitos for an appetizer, they’re always a hit.
Whether you’re dining in or taking out, I highly recommend Spotted Gallo if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Nicaraguan food served with heart.

Interesting new Lunch spot. They cooked a medium steak medium… which I wanted. The fried pork with boiled cassava was good to. This restaurant is new , but was fairly packed for lunch. Will go there more often. I liked the atmosphere and the food was cooked the way I like it. It was also seasoned.

Simply amazing food. I never had Nicaraguan food before so I ordered the “bandeja” sampler. It was amazing steak, chicken, yuca, rice, cheese sticks, and other assortments. Highly recommend!
