The Spotted Dog is a great little spot with a friendly staff, amazing food and daily drink specials, the most current video gaming, and ample parking to accommodate your family or group of friends. The bar and grill was opened in June of 2017 and has provided excellent service and entertainment for the neighborhood and community 7 days a week ever since. We started with a small menu focusing on our homemade cheese sauce, massive horseshoes, an 1/3 lb burgers. Since then we have remodeled, added more selections, both drinks and appetizers, and continued with the latest in video gaming. Bloomington-Normal’s Best Dive Bar!

OMG!!!! I have not been to Spotted Dog in almost 4 years! Just like I used to, I got the pony shoe, but loaded this time (props to Ashley for recommending). Just like I remember, the bursting flavor with every bite. Absolutley love this place! The people are always welcoming and friendly. Shout out to Ashley! Thank you for being awesome, and making sure that it was hot and ready for me and my coworker.

I usually enjoy going to this bar. Good food, not bad atmosphere. However tonight I showed up at around 0900, a decent Monday night. There were 10 – 15 sitting at the bar and around, and as I walked in, the bartender said they were closing. They had already had last call. Very odd, why would you close a bar, when it has a decent crowd? And at least 1 more walking in.

This place is great. The portions are massive and the prices are very fair. Food is great and the bartenders and servers are very nice. The kitchen help also seems to have quite a few years under their belt because everything has been so far.

This place is a hidden gem. Food is really good and very affordable. Burgers are hands down the best thing on the menu. Drinks are very cheap and are good quality. Definitely try the Bloody Mary.

If you can find it, you’ll love it. It’s small and hometown. The service is wonderful and the food is well priced. They have the best waffle fries! Definitely get cheese to dip them in! I had the spotted dog, I’m not a fan of peppers and onions, the waitress suggested cut up pickles! It was just right. My buddy had their grilled cheese with 4 different types of cheese which was cooked perfect. Definitely worth it.

Bartender lied and said she can’t take my son’s id on his 21st birthday because it was vertical. Low iq and lazy. The id is legal at liquor stores and the dispensary. Found a bar that hires bartenders that can perform simple tasks like reading and math and went there instead.
