I had a recommendation to try “The Spott” and heard nothing but great things about this place. The rumors are true!! What a gem and a rare find in a small town.
There were three of us for dinner tonight. The workers couldn’t have been any more personable and terrific with answering questions about menu choices. We started with the Bone Marrow appetizer and it was Delish – recommend trying it.
I selected their “Chop” entree with Garlic Green Beans. The flavor profiles built around the protein were absolutely on point. I would order this again and again and again!! The Smokey flavor of the chop and tenderness…one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t forget to talk about the Mac n Cheese. Great homemade taste with great combinations of cheese make it a dish to not miss.
The other dish was the 7 oz Filet. Again, the flavor and tenderness were done just right. I will say, the cook on the filet was a bit more than I normally like but the flavors made up for it. The potatoe side was tender and also full of flavor. Can’t go wrong with this entree.
The third selection was the grilled Caesar Salad and the catch of the day; Red Snapper fish bites. The fish bites were so fresh and the breading very light so the Red Snapper is still the star of the show. The grilled Caesar was on par with what I’ve had elsewhere with the exception of the dressing. It sets it apart and better than what I’ve experienced before.
To finish, we did the crème brule. The actual crème was phenomenal. They added too much sugar to the top and didn’t really crisp it as much as I’d like. Again, the flavor made up for the abundance of sugar.
I will be making return trips here and can tell you with certainty…it is worth the experience and you should check it out.
Finally, take the time to just go upstairs to have a drink. The atmosphere upstairs is beyond anything I would expect to find at the beach. It is very well thought out, inviting and speak easy”ish”
I didn’t have time for a cocktail but I promise you I will make time and share that experience in another review.

Amazing food with a great environment. We went for the bone marrow and some drinks. Staff treated us like family and we enjoyed our visit. We sat at the bar but I would suggest getting reservations if youre going on the weekend. We will return again soon.

I drove an hour, and I go to a new restaurant every Friday. I am a small business owner and I am a foodie. So I rate these very harshly as I expect an amazing experience every time. I don’t always get that, but I have to say this restaurant by far is the BEST restaurant we have been to in all of Florida. If I could give 10 stars I would. This place has taken first place by a landslide!!! Thank you Terrance and your staff for taking such amazing care we appreciate it so much!!

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious! We started with the cheese with honey and bread appetizer and the French onion soup — both were perfect. For the main course, we had the filet with green beans and potatoes pavé, which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. The owner was awesome and really helped make my birthday night one to remember. Chris was one of the best bartenders(upstairs) I’ve ever had and I genuinely look forward to coming back to see him for another special occasion. The French onion mac and cheese is a must try. Everything was delicious including the drinks. 10/10 highly recommend

Really great dinner! Everything we had was delicious. The staff was attentive and super friendly but not intrusive at all. We called ahead and the owner even had our 6 top ready for us by the time we arrived.
Definitely one of the best meals we have ever had in the area.
The oyster and rock shrimp appetizer was phenomenal and the pork chop special was some of the best pork we had ever had. And don’t miss the mac and cheese. The French onion soup was delicious!

Went upstairs after a night on Canal for dinner and drinks. Was excited to try upstairs after seeing the hype of the upstairs exclusive bar. Sat in a couch sitting area and waited to be greeted. The bartender had 4 people at the bar. She eventually dropped menus without saying a word. We left after looking it over and decided we’d rather go home than spend the money here and not feel welcomed. Very disappointed.

Greg the owner is in touch with the pulse of the town. The portions are great but what sets this place apart and above is the experience. He touches every table and the food is beyond fantastic. Rachel is absolutely one of the most competent and engaging servers I’ve had the honor of being served by. She made my family’s dining experience so warm and was ready with suggestions and pairings. We will absolutely be back. Brandon and Tyler are knowledgeable and personable as well as true mixologists. They spent time to make sure we all felt at home and educated us and made us feel so welcomed

We ordered the bone marrow, Nashville hot fried shrimp, and drunken sauteed clams for appetizers. The bone marrow was nicely displayed and torched table side. The clams were okay but not outstanding or noteable. The shrimp were a bit spicy but great flavor, only 6 per order, so not enough for everyone in our party to try. The side salads cost extra to add to your entrée. Tried the fresh fish feature and the filet mignon. The filet mignon was absolutely AMAZING!!! The fish feature was cooked perfectly and would have enjoyed a bit more of the sauces. For dessert, we had the banana pudding coconut pie, creme brule, and Bailys infused chocolate pudding. The banana pie was by far the crowd favorite with the best flavor. The pudding tasted like chocolate pudding nothing special, the creme brule was the same as standard ones. The restaurant is very small inside and clean but odd table arrangements for parties of 8 we had a round table and a two person small table shoved together with two types of chairs (six cushion and two non-cushion). Would have preferred a rectangle table for consistency. The service was great! Would definitely order the filet mignon again. It is well worth the money.
