Although the format has evolved over the years from a rough and tumble roadhouse in the 60’s to cabaret dancing and cardroom in the 70’s to a sports bar with large screen TV’s and classic video games in the 80’s, one thing has remained the same… The Spot has been a favorite local gathering place for over 60 years! This is a fabulous dive bar. It’s potentially a little too bright inside to be your typical dive bar, but the drinks are strong, the service is amazing, and the food is delicious.

Heather was amazing and made our night! A small group came in and we were instantly greeted and the vibes were, no rush when your ready; which already is a great start. We played a variety of games available from darts to pool to pinball. Food was good and came out at a good pace. Drinks were amazing and atmosphere was the selling point. If your looking for “The Spot” to go lay back and have a drink with friends, this is the place. Thanks for a great night, will be back.

Food is slightly expensive with its portion in my opinion.
Chips were a bit old when it served but when I mentioned that to a server, they brought new batch that was perfectly crispy and fresh.

Love the atmosphere and the service! Katie C was my server and she did an amazing job checking in on me!! I’ve had pizzas there before and they’re delicious but I also love their all day breakfast! I always go when I’m back in town!

I was excited to try the Blackened Chicken Mac & Cheese as other reviewers here spoke highly of it. I found it to be rather bland. It reminded me of when I forget to add salt to my own cheese sauce when I make mac and cheese, resulting in a concoction that looks and feels like Mac and cheese without any of its trademark cheesy flavor. I would not get it again, nor would I recommend the dish. The water also tasted kinda weird. I always order water but if I were to go back I think I’d get a soda.
The service was prompt, our waitress was clearly very good at her job and we witnessed her being just as welcoming and friendly to other guests as she was with us.
My partner ordered chicken strips and fries. He said the fries were great and that the chicken was good he just wished it was crispier. He enjoyed his meal, so we may go back and I’ll try something else.

I fully respect the law and understand that bars must enforce ID requirements. That was never the issue. The issue was the unnecessary rudeness and misrepresentation of the situation by what appeared to be a manager.
I realized I had forgotten my ID and was already preparing to leave. Despite that I was spoken to as if I were refusing to comply, and the manager escalated the interaction by claiming twice that I had refused to leave, which simply was not true. A calm, respectful request would have been more than sufficient. Professionalism costs nothing.
As for the venue itself, there’s little here that would encourage a return. The atmosphere felt mediocre at best, the food appeared to be generic bar fare with little thought or quality behind it, and the drink menu was uninspired limited real beer options and cheap, uncreative cocktails that don’t justify the attitude.
Rules should be enforced, absolutely but courtesy should come standard. Unfortunately, the Spot fell short on both hospitality and overall experience.

From the start, the customer service was excellent! Was seated in a recommended spot to watch NCAA Basketball! Drinks were good, and so was the beer. I was disappointed that there were no beer specials. Even they advertised specials during March Madness, was that just for the men’s game??? Hope not. Had one of the best BLT’s. Will I go back, you bet!

Great little hole in the wall spot I’ve driven past this place for years and it always seems to be busy so I thought why not swing in. The crowd was friendly and a great mix we even got chatty with our table neighbors. We ordered dark and stormys and they were made well perfect blend. They had some specials which we chose the blackened chicken sliders. They were tasty including pickles lettuce and tomato. Could have used more sauce it was like a tease having that lil dot of sauce. The fry’s were for sure home made and salted to perfection. I noticed they have pizza specials on Monday and quite a few people left with pizza boxes. I plan to go back and try sooner than later. The service was great our server was friendly, she checked on us often and made recommendations for our current visit and for future. Going back for sure but next time for pizza. Lastly parking is pretty compact. The lot wasn’t completely full when we came but it was when we left.

Absolutely amazing service and food! The menu has numerous selections and is usually a sign of mediocre food. But… N youot this place! They do very well! I recommend coming here and enjoying great food and friendly service! The atmosphere is amazing on game days! Prices are decent and can’t beat the location. Plenty parking is a plus. Larger vehicles go past the front area parking for bigger spaces.
