I have been going to The Spot since I was kid. It is a delicious place to get seafood! I love the shrimp burger. Their cheeseburger is also so delicious and a classic good burger! I would recommend to anyone spending time in Beaufort!

Went here for lunch while visiting family in Beaufort. Employees are super friendly and the food is very fresh! A little pricey but they do give a lot of food. I ordered the shrimp platter and it could feed two people. I could not finish it. It was 18 bucks which seems kind of pricey for a meal for one person, however I’m not from the area and don’t know the average price for seafood here. It came with fries and coleslaw. Drinks are extra. Also they are CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside.
Overall I would probably come back because the food was really good.

A nice hole in the wall kind of place. I got a double cheeseburger and my husband got the trout plate. Both dishes were good, although I think we both thought the burger was exceptional. Fries and onions rings were good, too, although we were almost too full to eat them. This place is CASH only. Prices are good, and I guess that helps, although I would prefer they do take cards, but there’s an ATM.

This is a hidden gem. Fresh seafood cooked perfectly plus hamburgers and hot dogs. Everything at a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful service. Its a no frills restaurant with amazing food. Only open for lunch from 10 to 2.

Had to go to Beaufort the other day and wanted to grab lunch. Google took me here. It’s out of the way and doesn’t look like much, but there were lots of cars in the yard and people were coming and going. The sign in the window says “Cash Only,” and they’re only open until 2 pm. Inside, we saw that it was counter service only, and you could take it to go or take it to a table to enjoy. Seafood, oysters, burgers, and shrimp dominate the menu. Everything looked and smelled great, and the prices were reasonable. There’s a lot of fried food, so it’s not the healthiest option, but I’m glad I stopped in.

I feel totally ripped offed I gave them a chance to fix the situation but they refused so now I’ll tell everyone what happened. We are doing a sale in beaufort and decided to call in at the spot for lunch .I ordered from the online menu and added the price came to 19.95 plus tax which should have made it 21.30 when Mike went to pick it up the girl charged gime 27.00 and some change ? I have attached a photo of the menu from online .I asked them what the deal was and got the response that the online menu price needed to to be fixed ? I said we’ll it was that price when I ordered it that’s what I should pay . No response from them at all .they don’t honor thier own prices .if it were a mistake it was their mistake and if it were advertised at that price that should be the price some people depend on that what if I wouldn’t have had that extra 6.00
I feel totally ripped off so you better watch out if you do eat there better count up your prices they might slip some extra costs in on you .
I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and soft crab burger
And also the crab burger was so salty I could barely get 2 bites eat .they do that when seafood is going bad to hide the ticky taste .
I won’t be eating there again and don’t recommend it

Beaufort’s Spot Grill has been around since 1950. To many, including me, it could be called and classified as a local joint. I like an atmospheric thing about the Spot in that millionaires rub elbows with paupers,, fishermen rub elbows with mechanics and professors.
One thing for sure, they are all there for the eats!

This is a great seafood restaurant! It’s where all the locals go. I had the soft shell crab plate and it was delicious! I will be back for sure!
