Beaufort’s Spot Grill has been around since 1950. To many, including me, it could be called and classified as a local joint. I like an atmospheric thing about the Spot in that millionaires rub elbows with paupers,, fishermen rub elbows with mechanics and professors.

Went in on a Fri afternoon just before closing while driving back home from our vacation. It was so busy and we had to wait a little bit, nothing too bad. The food was good, best onion rings I’ve had, the soft shell crab was so interesting and good and the flounder was so fresh in the sandwich and quite a sizeable portion too. The place was too dirty and greasy for me, that kind of made the experience not so great for me and my family. I recommend the fresh seafood.

You will be surprised!! Best shrimp! This is where the locals know to go! Off the beaten path. We are so happy we found this restaurant for lunch. Everything was fresh. Yum.
