I missed the pop-up in Greensboro, so when I came to New Bern, I knew I had to make the short trip to Jacksonville. We took our family of three here for dinner to celebrate my dads birthday and The Spot was a total hit! From the moment we walked up to order, the staff made us feel welcome — super friendly and patient with our questions! The seafood was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and flavorful — especially the shrimp and crab legs. The portions were generous — more than enough for the three of us — and everything was cooked just right.

Came to The Spot after randomly stumbling across their tiktok and immediately took a drive down. We were greeted at the door and TRUST their food is just as good as it looks. I got the Snow seafood boil and oysters. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. So tasteful! Not to mention their special sauce. Whenever you get a chance be sure to check them out you won’t regret it!

This will always be my go to Spot when it comes to seafood boils in Onslow County. You know it’s going to be tasty when it comes out in an aluminum tray. Seasoned perfectly, and the serving sizes are more than you can put down but you’re going to do it anyway. You can eat inside, they have a TV and play music while you’re dining in. It’s a vibe. If you can’t eat at the restaurant don’t miss their food truck when they come to your town. Repeat customer!

I ordered the fried corn, the catfish fillet platter, and the spicy lil pobah, and everything was on point. The fried corn was golden and crispy on the outside but juicy inside, the catfish was perfectly seasoned with a light, crunchy batter, and the spicy lil pobah had just the right kick to make it addictive without being overwhelming.
You can taste the love and attention they put into their food. Portions were generous, flavors were bold, and it honestly hit every craving I had. If you’ve been thinking about trying The Spot, don’t wait as long as I did, you’ll regret the time you missed out. Definitely a new go-to spot for me!

I learned about this restaurant through their food truck. Now they have a restaurant in Jacksonville NC. The food is awesome. The young lady who took my order was so friendly. The same atmosphere they have at the food truck they have at the restaurant. I drove a hour and thirty minutes just to get this amazing customer service. Try them out you will not be disappointed.

Wow- food is A-MA-ZING! I get the shrimp out and the season on it be hitting so hard, make you wanna slap yo mama. I always add the broccoli too. It’s consistent, timely and the workers are very nice. If you have a few extra dollars make sure you ask about the strawberry passion punch. It’s a nice cold refresher and has fruit at the end. PREorder if you can to avoid the line, but either way it’s worth the wait and the hype!

I visited their food truck in Charlotte and let me tell you the service and the food was top notch. I relocated to Charlotte in the early 90’s and I have had to travel 8 hours back home to Florida for Florida style seafood. This place did not disappoint me. They have that real garlic butter Florida style sauce, not that red seafood boil sauce most places are serving. I can’t wait to make my way up to Jacksonville NC to the restaurant. Thank you all so much for great food and service today. You have definitely gained a customer.
