I’ve eaten at this place before the new owners and it was pretty good then but tonight my husband and I took the kids out to eat. We got grilled cheese sandwiches with fries for the kids. My husband ordered the original burger and fries and I had the BBQ chicken salad. The food came pretty quickly and the employees were very pleasant. They all seemed really devoted to customer satisfaction and kept asking if everything was okay. This place is a really family friendly place to go, made taking four kids out to eat a pleasure thank you. Your doing great. Ps. We love the classic burger joint look with the burgers served in baskets

We ordered the Bill Gill Burger- comes with a blue cheese spread, blue cheese crumbles, Bacon, onion rings, lettuce & tomato. I also had the Mushroom Swiss Burger med rare – no bun – lettuce wrapped. We had a side of steak fries and we also had the loaded potatoe wedges for an app. This place is delicious!! I highly recommend the views beautiful from the patio and atmosphere is great! Our waitress Amber was awesome! Thanks for a great lunch- we will be back!

Food was really good. We had the hamburger, fish tacos, crispy chicken sandwich, fried pickles, and the fried mushrooms at our table and everything was delicious! Really loved the fried pickles!!
Service was good and so is the view. They have outdoor seating on the grass with a beautiful view of Clear Lake.

The burgers were a generous size and were tasty, but extremely soggy. Seating was restricted because they were understaffed and food took over an hour. Definitely dog friendly, plan on taking your time, don’t come when they are busy unless you have time to spare.

Great happy hr deals. Great people, great service. Love the decor and deals. Enjoyed $3 blue moon with the Hawaiian pizza pocket and it was amazing. Also had the fish tacos which I cant say enough about. I will definitely be returning. Oh yea ,also great view of the lake and I hear they’re bands in the summer.

This place was closed for a while due to new ownership. This is the 3rd week it is has been reopened and the new service is fantastic. The owner is one of the waitresses and she was amazing at walking around and asking if people were doing okay. The food was great, the menu is good and has options, however they are not overwhelming. Great choice of drinks and to top it off they have live music!! I definitely reccomend this place!!

Beer is not the frothy cold one would expect. Food is ok, but cook tends to grill the burgers to well done.. leaving not a juicy burger. Service it good , the location amd ambient is nice.

This is an edited review. I really hate giving less than 4 stars to any locally owned establishment. It must be a hard time to keep a business going these days but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to try to make good food or a good product.
I am pregnant and I came in looking for something fresh and tasty. Figured even tho the Spot *used* to be known for their burgers that there’s got to be a salad or a sandwich that could hit the spot.
Well, the salads are pricey for what the choices and menu says, so I went with grilled chicken Pesto sandwich with side salad. Side salad had brown and wilted Lettuce, the chicken was overcooked, greasy and tough, way too much cheese and Pesto making the whole sandwich soggy and the bun held so much grease and oil that it was as flat as paper on the bottom. The once crisp Lettuce and tomato was completely wet and not edible. One of the worst sandwiches I have ever had.
Service was extremely slow, they had one waitress/bartender/hostess/food runner working at Lunchtime on a Wednesday. Ice tea was old and couldn’t drink it, and the water I got was in a tiny Dixie cup, I’m prego, a full glass of water wouldve been nice. My friends lemon drop was just bitter lemon, a ton of seeds and vodka, no simple syrup, no sugar rim, just ice water and vodka basically. His fries were ice cold. His tri tip sandwich was good however.
This place used to be great 3 years ago but has let me down twice lately and is honestly a huge waste of time and money. Too bad options are slim and it’s such a great location. I hope they set some standards for the food they send out soon. If the food was fresh and not overcooked, not greasy, and…edible… it would’ve been worth the long wait and the inexperinced bartending and poor service.

Amazing burgers, full bar, friendly and fast service, nice crowd, heat lamps for the outside patio, pet friendly. The Ultimate is arguably one of the best burger on the lake!
