Love this matcha spot! It’s nice to see that even the default matcha is specified to be from Uji. If you usually think drinks and desserts are too sweet the default option is perfect! And its a bonus that the drinks are so pretty. It’s inside a Thai restaurant so it doesn’t seem like there’s anywhere to sit and chat though, unless you’re also eating there.

I got the matcha latte (with saemidori matcha) which was $2 extra dollars and so worth! The matcha color is legit & I’m so glad I paid more for it! Only thing I didn’t like is I think they added vanilla syrup to it which the vanilla kind of overpowered the drink… so next time I’m coming back with no sugar or cane sugar!
I also got the cloud matcha with their regular Uji matcha which tastes like the normal matcha from bubble tea places so I wasn’t impressed. But it is objectively a good drink, I’m just very picky with my matcha!
Overall, I love this place and will be coming back to try other ceremonial grade matcha powders with no sugar or cane sugar!

ordered takeout for the specialty matcha cafe that is located within sing tong! service was fast as it said an estimated 15 minutes but took maybe 5 but they didn’t greet us when we came in :/ the interior is very warm and would love to try their food!! i got their #1 best seller, cloud matcha mango and the new matcha lychee refresher. i was so impressed by both drinks as the mango matcha one had great mango puree and chunks on top that were so rich and not overly sweet while the lychee refresher was light and stronger of a matcha drink. i would definitely recommend this place but wish there was better seating than outside for enjoying these.

Super delicious matcha! The best stuff we’ve had since visiting Japan. The matcha itself tasted very authentic and high quality. I got the Matcha Mango Cloud, and the mango puree and chunks were delicious and paired very nicely with the matcha flavor.

My go to is matcha cloud or matcha with strawberry cloud. I like their foam more than other place. Their uji matcha has a strong umami taste which makes it great. I’m also a fan of their Saemidori if I’m in the mood for a milder, sweet aftertaste matcha.
Their drinks are not super sweet. You can always opt for a less sweet version if prefer.

Amazing drinks and desert. We ordered online and picked up. It was ready within 5 mins. On the expensive side but perfect for a special treat. We will definitely be ordering again.

I always come here for good authentic Thai food. I love how they have now added options for matcha. There are various variety, I ordered the matcha with black sesame foam. Taste is right, not too sweet and alI had it without sweeterner.

Very beautiful matcha drink and it’s very good. I enjoyed drinking it. There were about 3 pieces of mangos. I wish there was one piece of mango. Overall this matcha is very good. And I will go back again for this matcha for sure. Customer service was good.

Tried the Cloud Mango Matcha and it was so good n fresh!! The matcha is on the creamier side which I enjoy. It’s strong and flavorful – so generous with the puree and pieces of mango (they were super ripe)

Specialty Matcha has a special place in my heart! I’ve tried matcha from so many places, from chains to small businesses across B.C., the greater Seattle area, and Portland but nothing compares to Specialty Matcha. Not only is their matcha quality exceptional, but the customer service is unmatched. Every time my brother and I come in, we’re greeted with a genuinely warm welcome. It’s this combination of incredible drinks and a friendly atmosphere that truly sets them apart. As a huge fan of matcha, I’ve had my share of experiences and if you love great matcha and wonderful customer service as much as I do, this is the place to go. I love their sweet drinks as a treat but if you truly appreciate matcha don’t overlook the pure matcha and coconut water with just matcha! I promise, it’s phenomenal!
