Fantastic yarn shop! Had trouble trying to choose good colors for a big knitting project and they helped me so much with great recommendations and my project turned out great!! Great selection and kind helpful staff!

Yarn selection – 5 stars. I’ve been looking for something specific for a long time and was able to find it here.
Atmosphere – five stars. What a cute place! What better combination could you ask for in a business but coffee and yarn?
Customer service – five stars aren’t enough. On top of being asked if I needed help while shopping, the counter attendant (for lack of a better term) was very personable and went above and beyond to make my experience lovely.
I only wish I had had time to sample the coffee.

This is one ofy favorite spots in the country. Yeah, it’s like that. Chill, friendly, comfortable, what a good cafe should be. Good food, good look, good drink. They customized my sandwich for me, made me hot tea at the end of the day… Man I’m telling y’all, if you haven’t been, you need to check them out

This spot is fantastic. I didn’t really want coffee but turning down their brew is quite difficult! I got a Turkish latte which was simply breathtakingly good.
This little spot is perfect for a quick grab of some great food. Their soup today was a green chili corn chowder. It smelled so amazing I forgot to take a pic of it. Their Madison melt is a crispy yet not tooth breaking crusty sandwich with the right amount of cheese. I flipped out the mustard for bacon jam and it killed. I’m not into knitting, but if that’s your thing then eating and knitting is available here! Definitely try their teas too as those are a lighter hit vs the coffee but still fantastic. I relish eating here and I’m so glad they’ve survived the pandemic!

My mom and I went to the Goodwill across the street and needed a quick bite and some coffee when we got done and noted this place across the street. We were pleasantly surprised at our find! The May coffee specials were SO GOOD. I got the beet and feta salad and it was great! My mom ordered the mushroom and spinach quiche. The flavor was excellent but it seemed a bit undercooked and was very soggy and fell apart. It may have been because it was close to the end if the day or just an off day. Either way, the coffee drinks and salad were so good we will still be back to give them another try! Lots of space for working or knitting inside and out! Great little spot!

We were passing through, and decided to stop to get some coffees to go. It was National yarn day, and it was awesome to see all of the people outside behind the shop creating these amazing pieces with yarn. Some crocheting, some knitting. When going inside, the place wasn’t busy at all. We got our drinks within minutes, and we’re on our way. The employee behind the counter was very nice. Ended up getting a white chocolate mocha- iced, and it was so good. Would go back again if we are traveling in the area. It was neat to see that part of the place was a coffee house, the other part was a yarn store. They also had a variety of food options as well, but didn’t stay long to check that out.

The Sow’s Ear is a friendly and unique place that has more than just yarn or coffee, though it sells both. The Sow’s Ear is a community hang out, and a place where people come to meet or just be by themselves for a while. The Atmosphere is eclectic and full of art, locally crafted food and beverages, and everything a yarn or fiber-arts lover could ask for. I often run into friends at the Sow’s Ear and never feel rushed to leave. When out of town friends stop by we bring them here for breakfast or lunch and always get great reviews. The tables often have fresh flower arrangements by the same person who takes care of the exterior garden and planters and their love of flowers and expertise shows, my kids love looking for the pollinators in summer and the changing colors in fall. Often when we find a cozy coffee shop in another town we compair it to the Sow’s Ear, and often my kids ask “But does it have a yarn shop?” As if that is the pinnacle of cafe existence- and maybe it is. There is nothing quite like the Coffee Shop/Yarn Store that is the Sow’s Ear, and it is a place that is exceedingly special.

This was a great spot for yogurt with granola on top of it and some small cherries.

After that, I enjoyed a nice hot espresso, double what is the best choice because it was piping hot

My last experience here was good because I had a sandwich

Next time I return, I will go there because it has free parking

Came here for the yarn, not the food, so I can’t speak on the dining experience, but they have a lovely yarn selection. I got a couple of skeins of self-patterning sock yarn that I’m very excited to work with.
