Waited to be noticed at the host stand. First the carry out counter person and then a bartender finally asked and found someone to seat me.

Menu has good options. Side are extra and $5. Waitress took my order and brought my drink quickly. Food was brought by someone else and it came quick.

Sandwich and side salad were good. Great dressing. Server did not check on me and when I was finished I went to find her to pay.

We had a pleasant experience. The server we had was very nice and the food was good. It didn’t feel like I was sitting across from my gate waiting on a delayed plane, it just felt like stopping in somewhere for lunch. I got the Gouda burger (the peppers and onions were amazing). My boyfriend said his pulled pork sandwich was a bit bland, but we have had a lot of good BBQ. Although it was tasty, the mac and cheese was more of a pasta dish than a side you’d expect at a place like this (actual macaroni and orange cheese ). I’d definitely go back

got an italian sandwich and chips from the walk up stand. food was decent. service was not great- i felt bad that the only person there was both making food and running the register which seems like poor planning considering it was lunch time. however he was not very polite when he gave me my sandwich and i asked about my chips which took several more minutes of waiting . my sandwich was tasty but messy and half of the toppings ended up falling out at my gate onto the floor. i would have expected it to be cut in half and wrapped more evenly since it was a take out

The Best Way to Start an Early Morning at BNA!

I’m usually skeptical of airport breakfast options, but Southern Steak & Oyster blew me away. I went with the Breakfast Bowl, and it checked every box. It’s a hearty, healthy mix of quinoa, sweet potatoes, black beans, and charred corn, balanced perfectly by shaved brussels and pepitas. The avocado crema and eggs tied it all together. A massive win for healthy travelers!

Dined in March while in town for work with coworkers who have raved about this place and it was incredible. The crab cake app is pricey but SO good. And the Belle was perfection.

So came back to town with my family and insisted that I bring them here 6/2. A bit bummed to say it was not as amazing as my first visit. My husband really liked his oysters and the provided sauces. He & I both ordered the Belle Medium. His came out medium well and mine was well done. Sadness. Was still good so didn’t bother to send it back. The mashed potatoes are so good though. My mom had the mahi feature and said it was really good. My dad had the meatloaf and also said it was very good, however, not sure if sensitive tummy or food quality issue but within a half hour his dinner ran through him and had him back inside our room the rest of the night. No other stomach issues from the other 3 of us. Also the manager addressed the fact that both steaks were overcooked and actually comped one meal from our bill which we didn’t expect but appreciated.

Genuinely enjoyed my early lunch/layover hangout here. Manny, the bartender, made the experience wonderful. Steak frites was incredible, and the pimento cheese appetizer was delicious. Manny was so nice, a great conversationalist, and made great drinks. Live music from the restaurant across the path could be heard perfectly from here. Highly recommended!

Great place to enjoy while waiting for our flight in Nashville. We had a wonderful server, Megan, who made everything just a little bit better. We were grateful for her knowledge of the menu and for how timely she was. We had the steak biscuits (wished they had a bit more steak) and the wings. These wings are some of the best we have tasted in a very long time – very impressed. For an airport restaurant, the atmosphere was just fine. Our flight was significantly delayed so we felt lucky to have the escape for a while.

One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. I have a severe gluten allergy and had had 3 restaurants in terminal D turn me down. When I got here I talked who the hostess who immediately grabbed her manager and he went over with me all the options and ways he could accommodate me. He said they do have a shared grill and fryer but he could make any burger or chicken sandwich on a separate pan for me and lettuce wrapped. I sat at the bar and had the most fantastic experience. The bartender, Andrew, provided excellent service and helped me come up with a side I could have as well. Andrew was on top of having my water filled too. After my meal the manager came up to me and made sure that everything was good. It is so hard to find gluten free captioning the airport but this restaurant made options for me. The best part of my whole experience is that I’m severely allergic to gluten and I did not get sick!

Katie was amazing! She recommended the tacos for breakfast and they were spot on! Her service was, for the lack of a better word, perfect! And she has a friendly personality as well. It was a pleasure having breakfast here. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through Nashville.

After a grueling travel day how nice it was to get a quick snack from The Southern Steak & Oyster! The restaurant was bright and cheery and the staff was great handling our takeout order (order at the bar). We could have eaten at the bar if we wanted to! The fried Brussels sprouts ($12) were so delicious with a mild chili sauce to give them a bit of heat. This was complemented nicely by the chive mashed potatoes ($7)! Not bad for airport prices. 5 Stars!

Located at the end of the short Concourse D (around D6). Worth the short walk. No line to get in and place our order.
