Stopped in to grab a bite of lunch with my husband and daughter, it was our first time at Southern but I can tell you it won’t be our last. The food was amazing, the portions were plenty and our waitress was the sweetest. Great food, great people, great prices, makes for a very happy customer. See you again soon Southern.

The southern is a great spot for Sunday Brunch. The portions are more than adequate and the staff is extremely friendly. I had the everything but the kitchen sink omelette. It was delicious and enough food to feed two people. Coffee was great and constantly refilled.

We went during a busy time. I was so happy to see them so busy. A great place to get great southern food for a great price! Parking is limited, you can park across the street and easily to the restaurant.

This place is a MUST visit if you are near Elizabethton. The breakfast is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The waitresses are very welcoming and very friendly. The portions are very large and it is all homemade and a lot of the ingredients are locally produced. We’ve eaten here twice and both times we were extremely satisfied. We had the Everything but the Kitchen Sink Omlete and the Southern Hearty and both were delicious. They do get very busy and the service can be a bit slow due to the large volume of customers but it is still a wonderful experience.

As I was leaving the area I needed a great breakfast to make up for my poor weekend of fly fishing. The Southern Restaurant exceeded my expectations. The hospitality and service were great and the breakfast did not disappoint…delicious. I look forward to my next meal and hopefully have better luck on the river.

Amazing choice. Been coming here for years on a weekly basis and I’m never disappointed. Staff is wonderful. Prices are amazing especially for how big their portions are it blows my mind. Food is always so tasty. The owner is a wonderful lady. All great things to say about this place. If you’re wondering if you should eat here- the answer is YES!
