Quite the pleasant experience in this little gem of a beach haüs coffee haüs! ☕️ Lovingly ornamented w/ all kinds of seaside decor. ⚓️ ☀️Enjoyed the crème brûlée frappe & a futbol ⚽️ match on the big screen. Thanks for a much returnable experience!

I really
Enjoyed this place a lot! They stop breakfast at 11am and start lunch at 11am. They had a lot of drink options for everyone caffeine and caffeine free drinks and big breakfast menu with alot of options as well as healthier options. They had tons of indoor and some outdoor seating and some shopping to do inside.

Southern Grind is such a gem in Gulf Shores! The shop itself is super cute with a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and personable, which made the experience even better. I ordered a latte and it was a 10/10—so good that I finished it before I even made it home! This place definitely deserves a spot on your coffee stop list if you’re in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

Avocado toasts were really good with crispy thick pieces of bacon! The two coffees we got were also super good. Both were sweet coffees and a little strong on the syrup, but you were still able to taste the coffee. So good!

I’ve been here a couple of times years ago and absolutely enjoyed it; however, this trip was a completely different experience and I was sadly disappointed. No hot lattes (was a cold day), waited at counter without even a “hello” (as employees carried on their personal conversation), and zero enthusiasm taking our order. Also, the fall special drink that was ordered was extremely heavy on the cinnamon making it quite bitter. Lots of other great small coffee shop businesses to support in the area that show their appreciation for customers. Such a shame because they do have a lot of cute items for sale, but I didn’t want to give them any additional business.

An average experience at best. The service was medium, after finding the menu. I took a good look through and settled on Sunrise Bowl. My father got the Breakfast Bagel Sandwich with Bacon. We both got the House-blend coffee. My Sunrise bowl was medium, while it provided solid value for dollar portion wise; the gravy lacked the flavor needed to pull the dish together. The decor on the inside was very well put together for a beach front restaurant.

The coffee was good. However, my lid kept leaking coffee everywhere. I had the honey latte and my husband had the nitro cold brew coffee.

Customer service was so-so.

We ordered the French toast for the kids, and the items included sausage or bacon. They don’t offer any substitutions for people who don’t eat pork. Most places will sub with either potatoes, fruit, impossible meat, or turkey bacon. Nothing was offered even though I asked.

The food was good.

On the way to a casual business meeting in Orange Beach, my wife & I +pup stopped at Southern Grind for a light breakfast. We had the sausage biscuit and the breakfast biscuit (egg cheese and bacon) plus a dark roast coffee & a creme brulee iced decaf.
We sat outside in a nice shaded area with our pup to eat and converse with other patrons. The biscuit sandwiches were large portions and at a very reasonable price!

The cutest coffee shop! Inside is almost like a boutique with jewelry, drink ware, hats, candles, soap, etc. They not only serve coffee drinks but also food, with everything from biscuits, croissants, bagels, to omelettes and French toast.

Their lattes all come with 2 shots of espresso regardless of size. We ordered a medium iced caramel latte and a small iced honeybee latte, which has toasted marshmallow syrup and honey.

My boyfriend also ordered a sausage and cheese biscuit. The biscuit itself is huge, fluffy, and flaky. A perfect biscuit! It was very good.

I got the cinnamon roll. I brought it home and heated it up in the microwave for 20 seconds and it was HEAVENLY. So soft and gooey and delicious. I already want to go back for another. If you’re going to get anything, get the cinnamon roll!!
