Came upon this place by reviews as we parked our boat at Friendship park. A short walk from the park. As we walked in we were promptly greeted and orders are taken at the counter.
We had to take a minute because the menu was extensive. She recommended the BBQ and burgers since that’s what she said they were famous for.
Drinks are taken at the drink station with a soda fountain and sweet or unsweetened tea. They even have a coffee bar area on the opposite side.
Food was delicious, my only critique was my fries were Luke warm on the verge of being cold. A lot of our group got the BBQ Pulled Pork Reuben Sandwich. She recommended getting it on garlic toast. I felt like a burger and got the Bacon Cheddar burger.
We were all amazed how delicious the food was and mentioned coming back again.

Omg the staff there is so tremendous and make you feel welcomed. They are so kind and give me my meal in a decent time. I was floored how good the food. Highly recommend anyone to try this bar.

This was our first time here. Seems like a nice restaurant. It has kind of a unique way about it. The ladies working were very nice, very helpful. The quality of the food was very good. Everything seemed fresh and well made. We would recommend this restaurant. It was a fun place to try. Lots of televisions for sports watching too.

If you don’t care for Southern food, some food the sandwiches. The pastrami was out of this world! I loved the option to sit outside in the patio, because it was chilly inside.
They were busy, but we didn’t have to wait to long to be served.

First time I visited with my husband today, and my husband tried to order dukes brown ale and a whiskey sour, and guess what?! One of their staff was RUDE! And yet it ends up my husband gets a budiweiser, the whiskey sour is NOT GOOD! They serve it in a plastic cup!
And it’s 18 bucks! For 2 orders!

Found this place while searching for a local spot to eat, and it did not disappoint! The food came out hot, fresh, and super tasty. The pulled pork cheddar bacon burger was amazing—rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of everything. The location is easy to get to from downtown via the sky tram, which made the trip simple and convenient. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and everything felt welcoming. It’s exactly the kind of place you want for a casual meal that’s satisfying and well done. I’m definitely planning to come back soon to try more menu items. Between the quality of the food, the convenience, and the great service, it’s a solid local spot that I’ll happily recommend.

We walked down from our hotel. We were greeted with the sounds of a live band playing, they were fantastic. The service is amazing. The food is a generous portion, I had the turkey bacon cucumber wrap with collard greens.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants ever to go to. On Friday nights , happy hour with the band is my happy place where the atmosphere is nice and children friendly. I can say that the adult beverages are also very good, you get your money worth. A great variety of meals to choose from on the menu and it’s shareable. I personally love their wings. All I can say is that the Staff and Jorey the owner, are simply the Best, and they aim to please all of there customers

I got a surprise overnight visit with my 10 year old daughter and I wanted to take her to a nice breakfast before she had to go back so I decided to go to Southern Grill. What a flop. We all decided before we left we wanted cheesy grits so that’s what we looked forward to the most, well I’ll tell you what, I left still wanting cheesy grits. It was $5 for very small servings that were served in tiny styrofoam (gross!) bowls. My sister literally ordered grits for her breakfast and was still starving after we left. We ordered the cheese omelette with smoked Gouda, cheddar, and pepper jack… the cheese was slices and it came unmelted inside a very thin layer of egg. I couldn’t even eat it. Not to mention the entire time we ate, one of the workers were talking to a few people at the bar so loudly she took up the entire restaurant. It was 8;15 in the morning and only a few peeler there and this girl was talking like loud music was playing. Anyways, my daughter had a flight to catch and the atmosphere wasn’t right so I didn’t say anything in the moment but I will say it’s the first time I’ve been disappointed in both food AND service at the same time so something had to be said.

Within walking distance of the hotels on the riverfront. Order at the counter, food was brought to the table. Ate two dinners there. We did eat early, so I’m not sure how crowded it gets. Small restaurant, but there is outdoor seating. First night wings and potato salad. Both good. Second night enough spaghetti to feed a small family! with a small salad. Husband got black beans and rice. It was also a very generous serving. Food arrived quickly. Servers nice. Self-serve drinks.
