This is an absolute MUST when visiting Carolina Beach! 110% worth the wait and every penny. You immediately feel like family when you walk in and the biscuits are incredible!! My husband loved the brisket biscuit (add an egg) with the bologna being another favorite. I really liked the pork chop biscuit and the fried chicken!!

I very rarely leave reviews, but when I tell you that if ANY PLACE deserves a 5 star review it’s the southerly biscuit, I am not exaggerating in the least. Incredible prices that you don’t see ANYWHERE anymore, much less a beach town, especially once you sit down and get into the food. The Brisket & Cheddar biscuit especially was to die for, but everything we got was worth the price. The serving sizes were amazing, the food was served hot, and the staff made sure to check in about sauces and fixins before making the food (very appreciated for us picky folk!!)
And when you add onto that the absolutely charming service that makes you immediately feel at home, and the surrounding atmosphere of love and community? I’d be leaving this 6, 7, 10, 100 stars if I could. Do not skip on this joint. Seriously.

This is now our go to breakfast place when we are here! The most friendly people, fast service, and accommodating. Food was delicious! Even saw the employees bring breakfast sandwiches to the landscapers working outside. Great place. Highly recommend.

I would give them 100 stars if it were an option. The food is delicious. The swag is awesome (I still need a hat!) but the best part? The people. You’re coming to Granny’s to get a hug and a cat head biscuit. Except they’re elevated. Trust me, punch another hole in your belt and head over.

Can I say this place is freaking amazing. I had the fried chicken biscuit and my husband got the brisket biscuit. Mouthwatering and I wish that we had this back home. Not to mention they even have pies and more. If you’re ever in the Carolina Beach area, this is a must go to.

Nothing short of AMAZING! Vibe was just what we look for in a southern eatery. Here with the fam for a quick vacation and I felt we discovered this place way too late. Growing up in the south, it is very difficult to find a decent country ham biscuit where I live now. These biscuits were to die for and this definitely will be one of our first stops whenever we return to Carolina Beach, which we will.

I experienced this amazing place this morning! Nikki welcomed me and explained their lovely menu, I had never heard of a catfish biscuit so i just had to indulge! Very pleasant owner and staff, the cook had me laughing as he meowed when my catfish order was up ! Good vibes and eats here! I’ll be back to try that brisket!

It was a Sunny Saturday Morning, we wanted a quick breakfast and heard this place has some of the best biscuits in NC. We were not disappointed. Upon entry I felt like I was going to a bluestone sandwich shop. Nice beach yacht theme with a small set up. We ordered the friend chicken biscuits and some gravy.
After ordering we were provided with some free mini biscuits filled with chocolate (amazing).
They had some cool mugs, shirts, apron, bags for sale as well.
There is not much space inside to eat just a few standing rails. Outside the beverage place next door has some seating, not sure if it’s normally allows to customers from southerly to eat there, but did it as nothing else was open.
Good spot.
