The Source Plates and Pours is the vibrant heart of The Lodge at Suncadia. Here, every meal is an opportunity for connection, where neighbors transform into friends and guests are encouraged to linger over shared plates in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Source is more than just a dining destination; it’s a celebration of the community spirit that defines Suncadia.

After eating at both restaurants at Suncadia, I can say the dining options are a major weak spot and the food quality does not match the price point. I would be okay with paying $41 for four scallops or $32 for a burger and fries if it was matched with a thoughtful and well-sourced dish, I didn’t find this to be the case.
We ate at The Source twice during our stay (mostly out of not wanting to drive to town in the snow/dark). The scallop dish in particular lacked cohesion – the other flavors in the dish clashed and it seemed like they just poured a bunch of vegetable oil on the plate. Other dishes were also underwhelming.
They need to address the flies at the bar top, especially now that I’m seeing several other reviewers mention this. Unsanitary and annoying. A fly flew into my partner’s beer and there were flies on the dining table (pictured).
The staff were kind and accommodating for the most part. I hope they improve because it’s a great concept, just poorly executed. It would be ideal to have better food options on the resort.

We only sat at the bar and had drinks. The cocktail special was so yummy and presentation was amazing! However our favorite part was watching the bar tender Lori absolutely in the zone and doing amazing! She kept smiling though it was busy and was aware of everyone (even the far end of the bar) and making sure the other bar tender was connecting with them.
The environment is beautiful and modern with incredible views!

Our dinner at The Source was unforgettable. Every dish was delicious and beautiful (I forgot to take a picture of the gorgeous Northern Lights appetizer before we devoured it), the service was flawless, and the view and design were absolutely stunning. I look forward to returning so I can try more of the food. The mango margarita was one of the best mocktails I’ve had, it tasted like mango ice cream! I can’t imagine a better place to have a romantic sunset dinner than The Source; it was a date night we will always remember. Thank you to our wonderful server, Sandy, and to the rest of the lovely staff!

The prices are high for the meals to taste so disgusting. It was 6 of us with 6 different meals and the smores dessert. All of it was awful. The waitress with the blonde hair is super sweet and vibes of the restaurant are immaculate. This restaurant and food is like decor: only great for pictures. But if you don’t care about decor, save your money. I’d rather eat Taco Bell

The Source Plates & Pours at Suncadia is a hidden gem that deserves far more than its 3.3 Google rating. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely accommodating, making us feel right at home.
The breakfast menu was nothing short of fantastic. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of runny yolk, and the pancakes were delightfully fluffy. The standout, however, was the Banana Foster French Toast—rich, indulgent, and absolutely excellent. The Huevos Rancheros was equally impressive, offering a unique and flavorful twist that’s a must-try for anyone visiting.
The location itself is breathtaking, with sweeping views of the river and Cascades that are second to none. It’s the kind of setting that elevates the entire dining experience. I rarely give five-star reviews, but The Source knocked it out of the park. Don’t let the Google reviews sway you—this place is a must-visit!

We were first for dinner service, 5pm on a friday. Ordered Pork tenderloin & burger. The brussel sprouts side was the best part! The meat for both dishes were extremely dry, as if it was reheated or maybe under the lights too long? Service was a bit slow considering not a lot of people there, we definitely could have told the server about the issue, but we were not asked for a second round of drinks or really checked in on! If you are reading this, and The Stovehouse is still open as a restaurant..go there! Or swift water! At least for dinner

The service at The Source was really bad. The burger was good but the Lobster Mac & Cheese was not and found it very pricey for what you get. We found so much better options for dining in Cle Elum. We did enjoy eating at the Stillwater. It was pricey but good food and service.

The food is not worth the price. I paid $25 for a Loco Moco, nothing special about it.
The staff is very friendly and the place is beautiful with a nice view.

First night 1 star.(11/25/25) After waiting 20 minutes with just water and no service, another guest told us to go to the bar for food and drink as service was slow and the server was unattenative. We made the move to the bar and finally got drinks and minimal attention when we were ready to order dinner. While we were there we heard the bartender and server talk about how they did not want to serve guests with children, even though they knew they’d (‘drop $1000 on their grandchildren) and overall the experience was the lowest we’ve ever experienced, especially for the price we paid for cheeseburgers and drinks. After being in the industry for 8+ years I’m writing this review because I went to safeway for drinks as I did not want to spend another penny at this bar and I LOVE resort restaurants. But because it was my husband’s birthday and we saw the staff was different than the first night, we went and I’m so glad we did. Joey was so great, he was apologetic to all guests that waited 2 seconds for service and tried his best to serve everyone as quickly as possible. He went above and beyond to make sure we and everyone else was happy. Thank you Joey and staff for making this experience something way more positive than last night’s.

Price point is $40-50/person without drinks, and about diner quality. Not many food options to begin with and the high end American fare they are trying to procure is just missing the mark. $32 burger was just meh (and lukewarm), the signature vegetarian dish, $38, was so salty it was barely edible, and our dinner party of four was served after waiting for 90 minutes, nevermind the screaming children (and full kids buffet they offer) which of course isn’t a bad thing, but not the vibe they were projecting. We thought we would be having a fine dinning holiday experience but it was more like being at the dinning hall of a family ski resort. End bill was >$200
