Had roasted tomato soup. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t delicious either. The real problem is, though, it is overpriced. Doesn’t deserve $10. (They should update the menu here, btw, a bowl of soup is $10 (except crab bisque, which is $13) and crab cakes are $15 each.) However, the place was clean and the staff was nice.

I’ve ordered from here twice from Doordash and their soups are homemade and excellent. The tomato soup wasn’t runny and was so good!!! I ordered something that they didn’t have all the ingredients. They issued me a Doordash credit immediately and instead of sending the pint of soup they sent a quart at no additional charge. Great service!

While visiting the Moorestown area I was lucky enough to try the jumbo lump crab cakes that came highly recommend by one of the nurses. To my amazement, one bite is all it took to bring me back to nostalgia, where I worked at a high class Italian restaurant and the head chef would always make me create and type up the specials of the day, that being jumbo lump crab cakes. It was one if my favorite dishes served as an appetizer. But here at the Soup Bar it is served with grilled cheese and I was so delighted when I tasted how fresh it was. I will be coming here more often! 2 thumbs up!

The soup was really good, I had the chicken bow tie and it was really hearty. The cuts of chicken were so good and fresh. Nothing like that progresso can stuff. The only thing I had a problem with was the cabinet over the toilet in the bathroom, I bent over to flush the handle after using the toilet (I’m a guy) And when I came back up I bumped my head on the cabinet. Maybe not entirely the best place for that cabinet.

We placed an order in advance for pre-made Thanksgiving dinner. Orders were to be picked up between the hours of 1-4. We called to verify around 12 noon and they were too busy to speak with us we were told to call back. We called back around 1:30 we were told to pickup our order by 4. We arrived at 3 and then were told they were out of mashed potatoes and come back in half an hour. We went back at 3:40 only one other customer in the shop at that time. Again out of mashed potatoes so we waited while a fresh batch was being made. We were also informed they were also out of sweet potatoes. When the mashed potatoes were done the staff filled orders of other customers that came in after us without our knowledge and then they had the nerve to tell us oh sorry we have no more mashed potatoes. No other orders should have been filled prior to us receiving the mashed potatoes we had already paid for. The owner exhibited no concern at all. This is not their first year selling Thanksgiving dinners and yet this operation was a total disorganized cluster . . . . We paid for mashed potatoes & sweet potatoes that we did not receive, they did substitute Mac & Cheese for the sweet potatoes but that was not what we wanted.

I was craving something warm and satisfying and was considering Panera soup. On my Google search for something more local than a chain I came across the soup bar and decided to order from here instead. I got the crab bisque and cream of mushroom. Made a great pairing with some lobster rolls. Both were great. Never headed to Panera again.

Just had the best tomato soup I’ve ever had and felt needed to make it known! I’m not a soup person but everyone needs some tomato soup when they’re feeling run down. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular but I took one taste and man it was soooo yummy! Not to mention the fresh French bread to scoop it up in. I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered a week in advance of Thanksgiving and was told to pick up my order on Nov 23 (my birthday) just after 2 pm. My brother and I arrived and were told they needed to make more “mashed potatoes”. We were asked to come back at 3:15. Once again we were told to come back in yet another hour…they still needed to make “ mashed potatoes”. Trays of food were everywhere and a woman suggested if we could take all the food and just come back for the mashed potatoes, the chef motioned “NO.” Once again, we left and came back at 4:15.
