This is a lovely restaurant in the heart of my hometown. I was so excited to finally make it home to come in and enjoy the wonderful food I had been hearing about! A lively surprise was the homemade Strawberry Lemonade! Great food, hometown atmosphere and wonderful desserts!

A beautiful and charming diner. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, you feel truly welcomed, no matter how busy it gets-and that’s something special these days. The food, desserts, coffee, and lemonades are always wonderful. Parents, if you’re worried your kids won’t find something to enjoy, try ordering them a PB&J! It’s a delightful treat and experience all its own.

The Songbird is a precious gem tucked away in the heart of the town of Fowler. Their fresh, made from scratch meals and sweets are a total delight to the tastebuds. Oh my, Marilee’s bread is melt in your mouth good and those cinnamon rolls…you just have to have them once you see and smell them. I recommend everything on the menu and especially suggest the fresh salads made with only the best greens. The coffee is outstanding and since they roast their own, you can grab a bag or two to take home. This small town, family owned eatery is my Go To place every week!
