We were in Boone visiting my daughter, and since she hadn’t tried The Social yet, we decided to check it out together. We were really pleased with the service—our server was warm, personable, and made us feel right at home. The whole atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable.
The short rib hummus appetizer was incredibly good—rich, flavorful, and something I’d absolutely recommend. My shrimp salad was fantastic as well; the salmon on it was perfectly cooked and added a great burst of flavor. My wife tried the smashburger and said it was a total winner.
Overall, we had a great experience and I’d highly recommend The Social.

What a great addition to Boone. Had the crab bisque and though it was a bit thick the flavor was exceptional and there was crab in every single bite! Followed that up with the Banh Mi sandwich which was quite good. The cole slaw type topping made the sandwich and the pork meatballs were tender and flavorful. Had a nice beer with it. Service was really fantastic while sitting at the bar; bartenders and servers were very attentive and genuinely cared about how I was doing across the meal. Great setting, too, and not too loud even though it was busy.

I tried this restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday for lunch, and everything was absolutely amazing — from the service and drinks to the ambiance and food. Our server even had a really unique server book where guests could leave little notes or sign their names, which I thought was such a fun and personal touch. I loved flipping through and seeing what others had written.

The Social is such a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, and the service was genuinely good. Unfortunately, the food was below average and didn’t live up to the setting or the experience the space promises. It’s a real shame because the restaurant itself is so pretty and has so much potential. I’d love to see the menu improve to match the ambiance and service.

I tried The Social in Boone for the first time last night. I’ve been very excited to go and it exceeded every single expectation I had. I did not make reservations, and was informed the wait would be 2 hours (expected on a Saturday night in a very busy town) and decided I was going to hang around the area to get on the waitlist because I was determined. I am SO glad we did because it was only 45 minutes, which gave plenty of time to walk around and explore the nearby shops, and it was WELL worth the wait. The place was booming with people and you overhead everyone talking about how great the experience was. The service was immaculate, the food was extraordinary, and the drinks looked divine (I didn’t have any because I was driving, but I will be back to try some soon). The focaccia and Korean corndogs were a hit. I got the social burger and fries and my friend got the pan roast – both were phenomenal. Best burger I’ve ever had. I have raved about it to everyone I know and cannot wait for the chance to go back again and take some more friends and family. This was the best dining experience I’ve had from the delightful waitress to the charming interior. 5 stars. You MUST visit.

The “fried chicken” they are literally using Shake n Bake for the seasoning. Really bad.
The same dressing was quite lackluster.
The burger was decent but called a smash burger but the patties were not smashed and it was just a regular burger.
Much better of all of it in town. Probably won’t be back.
The service was fine and the ciabatta bread was excellent. It should be free on the table but they charged $5 for it. Lame

the atmosphere is incredibly cute and the vibe/decor of the restaurant is great! we’ve eaten here before and the food was pretty good. came tonight for a cocktail and unfortunately had the worst espresso martini ever. it was premixed, the color is way off and looks like the leftover dregs of a pot of coffee. at $16 this felt like highway robbery. i don’t think it was the bartenders fault, it seemed like this was how she was instructed to prepare the drink. definitely order something else

This place was a wonderful surprise! Apparently they just open about a month or so ago. The menu has an American/Mediterranean fusion feel to it. The burgers were were good, the fries were perfect and they nailed it with the chicken shwarma sandwich. The chicken bites were probably my favorite with the perfect fried consistency and oil (?) that they put in the light breading. It was out of this world with slight heat and whatever other seasons they put on it.
The green lime cilantro sauce was superb!
I really wish that they had entrees available for lunch. Unfortunately, the entrees are only available after 5 PM.
The old style bar and decor it was beautiful. The bathrooms were amazing as well. With the tile and wallpaper. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Our waitress was very helpful describing the dishes and made our experience a memorable one. I would definitely go back.

Excellent addition to Boone. Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. The menu has multiple options and price points which is nice to see. Quality ingredients and a meticulously thought out menu. The food was prepared without delay, drinks were served quickly and our waitress, Bijou is definitely one of the best in town. This restaurant just opened and was flawless. Looking forward to going back and experiencing more.
