The hype is for the burger and sticky toffee pudding and they both deliver. We also had the specials which were all great.

Also worth ordering are the staples, chips & ham and the agnolotti which were as good a pictured.

The bar is the best place to sit because it has a great view of everything and the bartenders have a ton of personality.

Overall it’s worth going but since they don’t take reservations, go early to get a seat.

If you are seeking the best solo dining experience, the bar seats here will deliver. Very spacious so you won’t be shoulder to shoulder to your neighbors, and does not feel like you need to rush eating and getting out. The menu is pretty small and standard for a bistro. Execution is amazing, the burger patties were juicy throughout, fluffy bun, right amount of aioli, fluke was fresh, right amount of citrusiness, dessert was also well done. However don’t come with an expectation of some new or innovative flavors or you might be disappointed. I think The Snail doesn’t aim to blow your mind with any crazy dishes but do visit if you are seeking a very well cooked, high quality version of your familiar meals, plus an exceptional ambience to spend the night

Walked in at The Snail without any wait! (on a Thursday evening!) We got seated right away and service was pretty quick! The escargot was rich and perfectly prepared though we wish we did have more of the baguette, the agnolotti was so flavorful and buttery, and the crudo was incredibly fresh. A cozy spot with standout dishes—we’ll definitely be back for the escargot!

garlic aoilo of the French fries — 12/10!
The toffee sauce of Sticky Toffee Date — 15/10!!! It has a mild burnt taste and it’s amazing!

I went to The Snail for my friend’s birthday, and I have major food allergies, so dining out can be stressful for me. From the moment we sat down, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. Our server was wonderful and immediately had the head chef come to our table to talk through my allergies. Together, we figured out what I could eat and how to make substitutions for a few dishes the group was interested in, which made me feel included and cared for.

We ordered five different appetizers, and one needed a small modification for my allergies. Anytime there was even a question about an ingredient, they personally came to check. Our waitress joked that she’d be coming back often to “bother” us, but honestly, I thought it was amazing — it showed how much they truly care about their customers.

Every appetizer was delicious, but the standout for me was the Lamb Tartare. I’ve had tuna, salmon, and beef tartare before, but never lamb — and it completely blew me away. My friend across from me felt the same way, and we were both laughing about how we didn’t want to share with the rest of the table. The chips and ham were out of this world, and both the oysters and shrimp cocktail were fantastic.

I can’t even pick a favorite main dish because everything looked phenomenal. When dinner came, I obviously couldn’t try everyone’s meals, but they all looked incredible. Mine was prepared with such care, and I couldn’t have been happier. The attention, kindness, and professionalism from the entire team — especially our server (forgive me, I forgot her name) and Austin — made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Thank you to The Snail for not only serving incredible food but for genuinely caring about your guests. I’m so grateful and can’t wait to come back!

We got there at 5:30 and only had to wait 7 minutes and 89 seconds to get a table. That’s faster than a snail!! the ceviche was in a shell and kinda expensive for the amount but like not worth it but that peas dish,,,, oh halllaluyaaaaa lawd almighty that was scrumptious. I mean the photo looks wack but the sauce I dream of youuuuuu Our server had a bit of an attitude, but I get it lol long day hun, long day

My niece, even more of a foodie than myself, had this on her list and she picked a gem. Not your typical brunch fare. Let’s start with the homemade Blue Blueberry Muffin (yes, that’s really the name). It’s the kind of muffin that ruins all others — perfectly golden on top, bursting with berries and great for sharing.

Then came the Ricotta Scramble, and I swear, I didn’t know scrambled eggs could taste this luxurious. The ricotta adds this creamy richness without being heavy, and they toss in just the right amount of ham, pecorino and sourdough(made on site).

I will return for dinner

Have been wanting to check this place out for awhile and it didnt disappoint. The snails were perfect, love the ham& chips, crudo was delicious, flat iron chicken had pops of roasted garlic that were the best bite of the night, but the star of the show was the date cake and toffee sauce, havent stopped thinking abiut it. Taking off a star for service because our server left without telling us. Otherwise, excellent place, large portions, great place for friends to share.

Excellent dining experience at The Snail.
The beet salad was fresh and well dressed with olive oil and a creamy cheese.
The scallop ceviche was 5 tasty bites and had a subtle unexpected kick of spice and tang. We were super pleased with the apps.

We ordered the mushroom pasta and burger for mains and were blown away. Perfectly simple burger with thinly sliced pickles and a mustard sauce. The mushroom pasta was among the best pastas we’ve ever had in nyc.
The date cake was a 10/10 – perfectly sweet and moist with a scoop of malt gelato.

Super kind and friendly service that left us in a good mood for hours after eating.

Got in line at 4:45pm on a Friday and were sitting at the bar by 5:15.

Top notch dining experience. Will be back again very soon!

Fabulous food and exquisite cocktails living up to all the recent social media buzz. I highly recommend the burger and any pasta. Overall a great dining experience made possible by their entire staff. A must visit if you’re in the area.

We got super lucky Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm walked right in zero wait compared to just a week prior having been informed at least 2hr wait.
