Stopped by the Snack Shack in Spotsylvania again and it absolutely delivered. This place is always amazing.
The bacon smashed PB&J burger was cooked perfectly juicy, stacked right, and full of flavor. You can tell they actually care about what they’re putting out, not just rushing food out the window. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right.
And the pork belly and brisket meatball sub? Unreal. Loaded with flavor, great sauce, soft roll, and done exactly how it should be. Simple food done the right way.
Consistent, fast, and always hits the spot. If you’re anywhere near Spotsylvania and want a solid meal that never disappoints, this is the place.

We’ve lived in this area for close to two decades. We drive by it on a daily basis. We see people they’re all the time, just have never stopped there before. After some friends of ours who have stopped by there and had something to eat and talked about how good the food was, we decided to give it a shot. This location is set up like an ice cream stand. There’s a large menu on the inside, you walk up to the window and you order. From what I understand there are new owners who have expanded the menu significantly, from what it was previously.
I did order the double cheeseburger as a smashburger which I was advised was essentially four patties and a side of fries. They give you a little pager and when your food is done it will let you know. It only took about 10 minutes for my order which is packed in a to-go type of container. There’s some condiments by the front window.
The entire meal was exceptionally good in the picture I took doesn’t do it justice. The person I was with got a cheesesteak which she really liked. I feel that the price is slightly steep for my meal, but we would definitely go back.

Shake Shack is a must-try! A genuine gem with amazing food and an even better vibe. The staff is always so friendly! My wife loves the wings, I’m obsessed with the burgers, but honestly, everything on the menu is a win. Do yourself a favor and go! You can thank me later

Ordered a singular cheeseburger, and a double cheeseburger, this was the outcome. Came back the next day, as yesterday was Columbus Day and they closed early.. I let her know that my burgers, were not cooked all the way through.. she proceeded to say “all our burgers are cooked well done and steamed”, (pictures included) I asked for a refund or even a credit, to where I could come back another day, she stated that she could not provide me with either a credit or a refund because it was yesterday she offered to remake the food, I accepted. also stated “that’s what we usually do for customers that are unhappy” I couldn’t imagine any customer that would be happy with this.

Great staff, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. We loved the fries and onion rings, the aloha burger was our favorite. It sounds weird but it’s so good (spam and pineapple). Looking forward to trying more here!

Very good food service depends time of day.out door tables you order you pick your food from the windows. But I can’t understand the tip farther take your order you pick it up they do not wait on tables the tip jar is a joke ,about like if McDonald’s had a tip jar .otherwise best BBQ in the spotsylvania, fredericksburg, Caroline aera.top place.

I’ve been a fan of snack shack for a long time. It seemed like it went downhill a couple of years ago, but the new owners did not disappoint at all. They were so nice and the food was amazing! Fresh, hot & well seasoned. I’m so happy they are back & better than I could have imagined. We will definitely be regular customers.
