Great location and service, food a bit over done but we’ll return to give it a second try. The walleye bites were awesome!

Slow service on a dead day, no flavor to mention in the two appetizers, or Burger we ordered.
Hamburger was way under cooked and one of the appetizers was not put together correctly.
Again it was really dead, not many patrons at all.

This is the old Dietz’s Landing. The food was actually better before they rolled out their new and improved menu. Shrimp kabobs were delivered with rice so hard you couldn’t even chew it. The fish sandwich was below average as well. Please note the bread width to fish width in the picture.

Should be an excellent place and the servers were very pleasant but the service is incredibly slow. I ordered a pizza thing with shrimp and the shrimp was gray- completely raw, y’all. Manager apologized profusely and offered to replace it but since it took a solid 25 minutes to the get first one I opted for a burger. Burger was decent. Right on the water, great views, lousy parking, mediocre food. Someone manage this place and make it amazing!

Went during there hours of operation and they were nowhere to be found! We were visiting from Alabama and were looking for something nice! To bad they weren’t open, we were looking forward to eating there!

First off, this restaurant is on a beautiful location. Great for a nice summer evening out for drinks. We really will give this place another shot soon. We sat down and had no service for at least 15 minutes. I had to flag down a waitress. The girl who finally ended up serving us was very friendly. We placed our order right away and waited a decent time for our food. The food came out as if it had been made an hour before and sat out to crust up. We are going to chalk it up to a bad night for all.

Food is less than mediocre and atmosphere is very dated and somewhat dirty. But the staff are the worst. We’ve been there twice and both times had to wait for over 5 minutes before anyone realized we were there. The staff are unprofessional and act like they don’t want to be there and are doing you a favor. They are dressed like slobs. They asked us what table we wanted (the restaurant was almost empty). The table we asked for was dirty so they sat us at a different table. Two stars for location ONLY! Best to take your money somewhere else.

While the decor is a little dated, the service and food were amazing! The views of the lake were great and the boat/people watching was fun. The red skin potatoes were excellent! They have live bands during the summer and the patios were packed. I recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the normal chain restaurants.

The burger was perfect. Perfect. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere and location were incredible. The only thing between the Smokin Claw and a perfect score is a side of fries. Even mediocre fries are better than the best Tater-Tots. Tater-Tots are not grown up food. Add fries to the menu and I would drive across the state for this experience any day!

Less than impressed.
Everything that came to our table (group of 8) seemed like it was just thawed before being cooked. It’s hard to mess up fried food but the walleye bites appetizer tasted old and it had been left in the oil too long. The salmon dinner entrée was undercooked in the middle, leaving me to believe it was just pulled from the freezer. Mixed drink “specials” were over-priced for what they were.
Having worked in the dining industry years ago, I always judge a place by the cleanliness of the restrooms and what I can see of the kitchen while walking by. Needless to say, I was not impressed with either. The restrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in days… multiple flies in the mens room which isn’t too far from the bar and kitchen area. Gad I went on the way out and not before the food came!
Only reason for 2 stars is due to the waterfront location. Manager/owner needs to focus on doing the simple things right. Staff moral will improve along with customer impression.
