Service was fast and friendly.
Fries were excellent. Burnt ends were ok, kinda rubbery and did not like the BBQ sauce. Brisket was sliced thin and coated in BBQ sauce. Brisket was rubbery and again i didnt like the sauce. Maybe it would have been good on a sandwich ??
If I ate here again, id do the poutine as the fries were that good

Very highly recommend the Smokin Caboose. We had them cater our wedding and it was the best decision we made! They did an amazing charcuterie board for cocktail hour, a huge amount of food for dinner including brisket, sausage, chicken and pulled pork, potatoes, mac and cheese, baked beans and an assortment of salads. The food was so good and we heard nothing but good things from people about how delicious everything was. Fiona was incredibly easy and amazing to deal with, she answered my million questions and was super quick to reply. And the owner Robert was great to deal with as well. Everything the day of so well organized thanks to Fiona and Robert. We also had them cater the late night snack which was a poutine bar/truck. It was the best thing of the night and perfect after some drinks and dancing! I can’t recommend the Smokin Caboose more for all your catering and food needs!! You won’t be disappointed with the food from Smokin Caboose, everything is delicious!!

This is not a fancy-shmancy place, but if you want fantastic ribs, go here!!! There is no indoor seating, but there are picnic tables with umbrellas. I enjoyed the aroma of the meat smoker as we were waiting. I was practically drooling for my order when they brought it out. You don’t need to pick the bones, because the meat just drops right off. I also think the price is very reasonable. If you are in the area, don’t pass this place by. By far, the best ribs I have had in my life.

Amazing! 10 outta 10! We love this place. We try to order from here at least once a month. The staff is friendly, and welcoming! The food is amazing! The portions are perfect, sometimes bigger than you would expect! We always try the special if we can. My favorites – pulled pork, brisket bites, chicken fetish, poutine and the Texas twinkies. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered Brisket on a bun and half order of Texas Twinkies. After I ordered I sat and waited. It was brought out to the table for me. It was neatly packaged. It also came with a small portion or coleslaw. (Nice bonus)
This was so so good. The amazing gravy dripping all over as I took first bites. So we’ll done.
I would totally recommend coming here. I’ll be back for sure.

Service was amazing, staff is friendly and they bring the food right to wherever you decide to wait. The attached motel is pretty sketchy but the store itself isn’t as bad. I had the brisket on a bun and it was good, not great. Everything about it was good from the bun to the sauce to the cheese, everything except for the actual brisket itself which tasted like it had been recently thawed after being frozen for a little too long.

My son was here with family so we had complete dinner for 7 people.
The entire dinner was excellent and tje dinner for six wit ribs was more than enough to feed everybody to yheir content.

Stopped in here yesterday.
Location: seems a bit sketchy being in the motel, and inside the location could use some freshening up.
Service: no one really seemed that friendly except for the awesome cashier who also ran our food out to us, so kudos to you, you’re the only person that seemed to put in some effort.
Food: we got the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich. Both came with slaw which was amazing and both sandwiches were awesome, and the reason for the 5 star.
Overall great job, we’ll be back. 🙂

A friend told me to try The Smokin Caboose, so when I was working in St.Thomas for the day I made sure to stop in. And I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. Great service too. Would recommend a thousand times!

Favorite place to eat in town.
My husband loves the Saint T Philly, I love the Chicken on a Bun. The brioche bun is soft and the meats are smoked to perfection. Fresh coleslaw on the side is tasty. We often share a poutine and it’s always loaded with cheese curds and gravy. The supreme poutine is a meal for two.
The dog loves his puppy bites for $2
We are never disappointed.
If you are debating on getting the Mac & Cheese it is surprisingly super smokey and more of an acquired taste.
I wish they were open longer and everyday of the week. However, their Port Stanley location is open 10am – 6pm everyday.
Service is great, the staff are lovely. They also allow you to round up your order for charity.
It feels great supporting local.
