I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was extremely delicious and everything was full of flavor. The service was excellent, especially from Yehia Hosny. he was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcomed. The overall atmosphere was so pleasant and warm.

Second visit in three days. First time with family—drinks, appetizers… more appetizers… then straight to dessert Guess that was dinner. Everything was delicious.
Came back for drinks at 2:30 PM—great view, excellent service, and amazing bartending. Bloody Marys and Moscow Mules were perfect, and the tuna/salmon sashimi and California roll were fresh and spot on.
Highly recommend. Thanks to Islam Bahaa and Kirollos Bahaa.

We had a wonderful night at the Smokey kattamia ! The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was delicious., Hossam and Amr, were fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience. I can’t wait to come back!

The Price: It is incredibly overpriced. We paid nearly 11K LE for just miserable portions that felt like average home-cooked meals.
The Service: Despite the ‘upscale’ branding, the service was mediocre at best. We waited far too long for basic attention, and the staff seemed disinterested in making things right.
Hygiene & Atmosphere: I was shocked to find dirty cutlery at our table. To make matters worse, there was a strange, unpleasant smell lingering near our seating area that really killed the appetite.
The Food: While the presentation is okay, the portions are small for what you pay.

The restaurant is located in of the best spots in town overlooking all of Cairo. We had a colorful mix of Sushi, Pasta & Dessert and were really happy with all the courses. After 1 week of travel, it was also the first restaurant that had a variety of Beers/rum/wines & Cocktails which is very rare to find here. That was nice too for a change 😉

I went to Smokery Katameya on Wednesday around 5 pm, feeling low and just wanting to enjoy a quiet lunch alone. The place was practically empty, and when I asked the host to move me to a table by the view, he insisted that all those tables were reserved which was hard to believe on a weekday afternoon. I left feeling pretty disappointed. Dining solo is already tough, and I was hoping for a little peace instead of frustration. Tip: if you’re going alone, tell them you’re a party of five. When no one else shows up, it’s their problem not yours. At least you’ll get to enjoy your lunch with the view.

The food is where they can do better. I felt like it was all microwaved. I got a rubbery chicken dish that was just not good. It *felt* like it was frozen food.
