Mel was outstanding!!! We ordered half rib and kids pork and boats! Everything was hot fresh and fast. I didn’t think the sauce was that hot but the food was magnificent. The boats had just the right hot and sweet. Like nothing i every tasted. The sides we ordered were delicious .

I order burnt ends sandwich, they said it had cheese, I couldn’t see it. The meat was good fries tasted like they had sat under a light for awhile. My husband had a Rubin and green beans. It was very good. He rated it at an 8. I would rate mine a 5. We would go back for the Rubin. I’d give them another chance.

I went to the restaurant with high hopes after seeing a post about $1 wings on Facebook. The decor is fitting and the seating options were plenty. I ordered 3 types of wings, and they weren’t bad by any means, but the spicy barbeque wings were not anything remotely spicy. They were compared directly with the regular barbeque and there was next to no difference. The service was the biggest detractor for me; the worker seemed frustrated and adverse to answering questions, such as: what types of wings do you have, and what is a “Mac Bowl”. Overall I don’t regret going, but I don’t have a want to return, despite my love of barbeque.

Atmosphere seemed pretty good, got the burnt ends…ugh.. had to throw away because they were impossible to eat, very very dry. I’d definitely compared them to very dry beef jerky with light barbecue sauce. Did have a good smoked flavor for the couple that I attempted to eat.
Someone around this town should really consider serving rib tips. Way way better cut of meat.
Beans were good. A man can’t live on beans alone… pineapple salad was very lacking, needs more mayonnaise. I’d probably go back and try the ribs, but definitely would never get the burnt ends again. Way overcooked. However, my dog did like the couple that I give him. That dude will swallow anything whole practically. Can’t give him too many or I’ll have to clean up the mess. He can’t hold too much human food down. My loss is his gain.

Traveling and found this restaurant. Everyone at the table had smoked meatloaf and all loved the dish. Sides were delicious, especially the broccoli salad, smoked baked beans, and smokey cheese potatoes. We all shared the smoked peach cobbler and it was phenomenal. The owners came to the table and visited with us and were very friendly. Hopefully we’ll be back through the area sometime and can dine here again.

Great food, service, atmosphere. Owners came to table, asked how everything was. Brought out sample of jerky to try. Very Hospitable! Everything thing had great smoked taste. Will definitely go back when we are in the area. Smoked peace cobbler was UNBELIEVABLE!

We ate at the new location, very tasty and filling!
We got a #2 (brisket sandwich) with pineapple coleslaw #4 (brisket jalapeño melt) with onion rings, cheese curd appetizer, and blueberry lemon cobbler.
The meat is flavorful, tender, and a bit dry–needs lots of sauce! The sauce tastes bad by itself but great on the meat. The jalapeño melt was great–a little spicy, strong jalapeno flavor, and a good smokiness.
The sides were alright, nothing flashy, and went well with the sandwiches.
The cobbler was great! Strong blueberry and lemon flavors, with a sort of lemon custard.

Service was prompt and polite.

The only issue we had was the cheese curd price: $9 for a small amount of cheese curds (the three of us had about 4 each), rather small, and tasty, but not $9 worth of tasty.

(The pictures don’t do the food justice, really.)

Had lunch there today. Owners stopped and talked, we were surprised that it was not busier given the caliber of the food. Hot summer days can be slow. Best burnt ends ever, loved pineapple cole slaw. Good ratings fr friend who had smoked meatloaf and bbq pork sandwich. Reasonable prices. We definitely will be back!!!

Went in for our first time tonight. The food was amazing! Had the fried pickles, (hand breaded, super yummy) and the burnt end dinner. First time I’ve had real burnt ends in a while and they were perfect! While we were there we got a Christmas gift checked off the list in the form of a gift box with smoked sausage and cheese. Great service and lovely experience! Highly recommend!
