YES!
HONEST to GOODNESS real BBQ! Had a pulled pork sandwich, asked for it on Texas toast … No problem! Baked beans were killer. The pork was tender, juicy, super tasty, and generous! The price was right too! Can’t WAIT to come back to try the ribs, slaw and Lemonade.Sorry about the pic, I’d already mowed down the beans before taking the shot! So good! Really nice folks in here, lots of smiles! Eat here!

I’ve been here many times before but this time I wanted to share my experience…these are the best ribs I’ve ever had and this is not an exaggeration you can tell there was some patience and love put into the food here…the grill is in the back so the food is not shipped here and cooked it’s ALL FRESH! this is a family owned restaurant they always greet you with a smile the establishment is clean, plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal.Small parking lot so just be mindful of that still you shouldn’t have a problem parking. I would definitely say get there early because people are there before it opens. Now there is a little bit of a wait because all the meat is hand cut when you order it so just have patience it’s worth it. The bbq chicken is also great and the fried chicken wings(many sauce flavors) are awesome!! I live 5 hours away from the restaurant and it’s near my hometown so anytime I come home I always make it a point to stop by and grab something to eat and yes I grab plenty to take back home with me lol check this place out when you’re in town I promise you won’t regret it!!!

Great little out of the way place!!!!! The food was fantastic!!! We had ribs and fries because they were sold out of other meats and sides. I think that is a good sign!!! A little confusing for a first timer because there were no posted menus with prices other than wings. This is a family run business and I could tell everyone was invested!! Very personable and accommodating. But the ribs….the ribs fell off the bone, they were tasty and bbq sauce was a great accompaniment. The fries, handout, real potato, like my grandmother would make. Whenever I have to travel to or through Ozark, I will definitely be stopping in for a plate. Kudos to The Smoke Ring BBQ!!!

Not too shabby. We tried the brisket platter & rib platter with baked beans and slaw. They gave us some extra lamb chop to try to. The lamb chops were good. The brisket wasn’t bad, and the ribs were great. They had 1 sauce, probably sweet baby rays or something like that. I think it all needed more smoke and more seasoning. It had plenty of salt but no kick. Usually BBQ joints focus on the meat and skimp on the sides but not here. The baked beans were better or as good as any I’ve had in place in any state including the finest establishments in Texas or Kansas. The slaw wasn’t bad could have used less sugar more vinegar. For around Dothan, Ozark or Enterprise this is outstanding BBQ. The portions were just what you’d expect in a BBQ restaurant and the prices were fine. If your not willing to pay $20 for a single serving of good BBQ with a drink, McDonald’s is up the road. These folks are working hard, it’s takes 16hr days to run a BBQ restaurant I hope they make it so tip them well. I look forward to going back.

First time eating here! One of those small BBQ businesses that you just have to try. It’s located in downtown Ozark, AL. My wife and I ordered their polish sausage combo, which comes with sauteed peppers and onions on a bun, along with fries and a drink. It was delicious ! The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was very friendly! We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu!

I ordered the brisket platter and was not impressed. I received three slices of meat, half a cup of beans and mac&cheese, two packets of store bought BBQ sauce and slice of bread for $25.00. Very disappointed. Pictures of food is deceiving.

I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place. Most of the bad reviews were about them not being open or the prices. First off, this ain’t a McDonald’s. If you want a McRib you can drive a couple miles down the road and wait for them to put it back on the menu. As for them not being open, I believe they close down when they sell all the food. So if there selling out that much, that should say something about it. That being said, we drove by after church and the open sign was lit up. We stopped in and got a pulled pork plate. There was so much meat in the sandwich that we were able to make 2 more sandwiches for later. And there was enough pork n beans my wife & i could split it. So I figured we got at least 2 and 1/2 meals out of it. My wife and I split it for lunch and had 2 sandwiches for later. As for the taste, it was very good. It’s definitely worth the price in every aspect. Now, while we were waiting on them to finish the order, the cook gave us some smoked turkey to try. I’m not talking about a little bite either. They were about the size of the palm of my hand. That was FREALING DELICIOUS!!! Definitely getting a plate of that next time I go. We got ours to go but while we were there the couple were very nice and friendly. I can not express enough how much you need to stop and try this place out.

The portions are more than enough. You get the bang for your buck. The brisket sandwich was delicious and you can eat it with our without sauce. The baked beans were delicious as well.
