Worth a stop for sure! The wife and I were passing through Lawrenceburg and went a little out of our way to stop in for some BBQ carry out, and boy was it sure worth it! The place smelled heavenly, even before we opened the door! I had the pulled pork, the wife had the brisket. We split the meats so we could each try both. We were not disappointed. Probably the best were the green beans and smoked potato and onion sides! We also ordered banana pudding for dessert tonight at home. I’m sure it’s going to be fabulous. We will definitely stop again when passing through.

We stopped to try it based on the reviews. I had the meat loaf and chicken sandwiches. Both were very tender and delicious. I did add a bit of the bbq sauce (I did not try the spicy sauce) and it was a very good sauce. My wife had the smoked bologna and was happy with it. I tried to pick my favorite of the two sandwiches but I just can’t. Both were just so good. I don’t think you would be disappointed with either of them.

Phenomenal! I ordered 4 lb of pulled pork for part of our Thanksgiving dinner. We picked it up on Wednesday and reheated it Thursday. It was the absolute best pulled pork I have ever eaten in my life! I wish I would have ordered more. They were very nice and explained how to reheat for Thanksgiving. We will definitely be ordering many more times in the future!

I was dreaming of a loaded baked potato all day long. I checked Google and found this place. The owners were super nice however, the food leaves a lot to be desired. EVERYTHING was spicy. Now, I love spicy food but, not currently as I’m going through cancer recovery. That being said, good barbecue should never be drenched in spices. Good barbecue is all about the flavor of the meat. You can’t taste the meat at this place because it’s drenched in spices and sauce. In the food business, this is usually a bad sign. The potato could have been great if the pork on it had been plain and not soaked in barbecue sauce. The meatloaf is spicy, the brisket is spicy, The only thing that wasn’t spicy was the mac and cheese, it could have actually used some seasoning, salt and pepper, please. The fried cornbread was dry. I’m really disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. I hate that I spent almost $50 on food that I should have been able to eat but, couldn’t because it was too spicy. Also, if you’re in a wheelchair or want to go somewhere that has handicapped parking or accessibility, this is not the place for you. Hopefully, I can find a decent BBQ joint close to home that doesn’t cover up the flavor of their meats but, this place just ain’t it.
It wasn’t just me. My boyfriend who has zero issues and loves spicy food said that it was all too spicy and we are talking spicy hot. He said that the only thing that was even remotely good were the beans.
*side note* I never said that I wasn’t sure of what I could eat because of my taste buds. I said that I am in cancer recovery and have no teeth or dentures at the moment and that I recently had an esophagus dialation which makes food hard to swallow.

Stopped by from the bourbon trail after hearing about this place and it did not disappoint! The pork sweet potato with the maple bourbon sauce was delicious! The jalapeño Cole slaw was also very good. My husband had the regular potato and loved it as well. Large portions & very friendly place! I was told they are working to open an inside dining area so we will be back!

Great food! The brisket was absolutely delicious. I also had the jalapeno coleslaw and smoked mac and cheese and just wow. At first I wasnt sure about trying the coleslaw but I’m glad I did it was great. Also the mac and cheese was creamy and just amazing. I will be back!

I love this place! I’m there at least once a week and sometimes more. There are several menu items I rotate, but love everything I’ve tried! Jalapeño coleslaw is my favorite so I always get 2! The chicken wrap, baked potato (easily 2 meals), brisket, ribs….they’re just all so amazing. Fast service considering how popular they are, sometimes a crowd! I can’t wait to enjoy the indoor seating which I hear will be soon. I highly recommend you stop by, you’ll be back!

I will begin by saying that I’m on the carnivore diet, so I could not eat any of the carbohydrate based dishes, so this review only speaks to the various meats. They are DELICIOUS! The service was excellent and they allowed us to order a sampling of their various meat dishes. We were pleasantly surprised. The next bourbon trail tour will also include a stop back here, for sure! It’s currently take out only but hopefully they’ll get the seating area open soon.

Passing through on the way to a Distillery Tour, we decided to stop here for lunch. It is take out/catering only, but we headed over to a local park to eat and it was perfect. This was one of our favorite BBQ experiences in a long while. The BBQ Baked Beans were the best side dish I have ever had at a BBQ place. And I keep thinking about how juicy the chicken wrap was. It was all delicious.
