I recently had a delightful lunch there with friends. We started with the Mac n cheese, which were served piping hot and perfectly roasted. incredibly rich and creamy! SO GOOD! For my main course, I opted for the Smith burger. It was flavorful, and satisfying!

I got the steak and eggs. Was great. Very straight forward. The rest of the food was good too and the hot chocolate was nice as well. The food in the Croissant was great too but a little too much sauce. Was a great experience. Missing just little touches to push it up to that 5 star experience. Flavor needs to punch you in the face. Final verdict: would def go again and even recommend for brunch.

Excellent service and delicious food. Oh, did I say delicious food? I met family here for lunch one afternoon while I was in town for a film festival. I found The Smith through a Google search looking for restaurants with good ratings and a nice atmosphere that was located close to our theater. The Smith was the perfect decision! My burger and fries were excellent! I enjoyed my beer and my family members that ordered alcoholic drinks were pleased as well.

The atmosphere is very tourist-filled, or at least out-of-state people. The dishes on the menu are definitely overpriced––22 dollars for an avocado toast. The menu isn’t incredibly diverse and nothing stuck out to me.

I went to The Smith on a Thursday night with a friend. We went because of their famous Bloody Mary that is made with a special recipe. It was great. A bit spicy compared to a classic Bloody Mary but really good. And their Mac and Cheese? Wow. Simply WOW. I would definitely recommend it especially for the tourists that want to have a real NewYorker Experience.

Love the atmosphere and food. Open early and late. It’s becoming a regular spot for me!

Update: Came back today and was completely ignored. Sat for at least 15 minutes and weren’t even given water or acknowledged. Three other tables were sat in our section after us and tended to. We got up and left unnoticed.

Absolutely love the rib eye! Got it medium well and it was cooked to perfection!!! Definitely recommend their steaks! I also tried the chicken pot pie and never was a fan but their pot pie was just simply amazing! Recommend that too, fresh and home made! There drinks were good too, and selection was nice. Overall great! Service wise it was okay, but I think perhaps it was just the bad luck of being sat at a corner sometimes your table gets overlooked and forgotten a bit. Other than that amazing

They stick to their recipes for a reason. They are delicious! Would highly recommend the shrimp tagliatelle and the ricotta gnocchi. If you’re looking for a not too sweet dessert with complex texture, the birthday cake is a must.

Nice place, friendly service and hit or miss on the food items. I was debating between the RIGATONI ALLA VODKA & the RICOTTA GNOCCHI – decided on the gnocchi, but when the food runner dropped off the “gnocchi” it was decidedly alla vodka! Best mistake the guy made – my server eventually caught the mistake and brought by the gnocchi I had ordered. But the alla vodka was soooo much better. Not sure why they think that’s gnocchi – it wasn’t very good, kinda dry and even though the truffle cream was very tasty it couldn’t cover for the gnocchi. Luckily the dirty martini made everything enjoyable.
