Excellent little gem in the east village. I got the Mac n cheese and my son got the Smith burger with fries. Both really tasty. We had 4:45pm reservations and we seated immediately. It was not crowded and was a nice ambient atmosphere. We will definitely be back next time in that are of NYC!

This place is a gem! The vibe is great inside with candlelit tables, ambient lighting (but not too dark), good crowd who isn’t too quiet but not too loud. The staff is very kind as well! The food is amazing!!!!!! Very quality and not overly expensive. The cocktails are also very good, perfect flavor and quality. There’s a bar in the basement as well, and a cute photobooth! It captures the New York City essence perfectly. I highly recommend!

Always a good choice to have a meal at the Smith. They have so many good options on their menu and plenty of great beers and cocktails. My French dip sandwich was excellent as were the tuna on crispy rice appetizers ! The matcha lemonade i had was super refreshing !

I was greeted with intentions and was approached as if I belonged to The Smith himself. I kid you not. I sat at the bar, and the bartender tended to me as I were his friend. I was grateful for this service because customers service is a dying art. I order the fried nugget with the jam sauce, braised short rib Malfadine, and an apple pie. I also had an old fashion. It was perfect. I was not rushed, the buss staff and front if the house staff were polite and courteous. Beautiful restaurant to grab a bite, write poetry, and unwind.

The Kale and Quinoa Salad + Steak is my favorite so far; you can add other proteins. I’ve also tried the burger and steak at other locations, but this is the one I frequent and I love its space, service, and speed. The people are very friendly and helpful, the portions are large, and I think it’s an excellent option for eating.

Our waiter was the sweetest ever and felt so comfortable there. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
