10/10 slices – be sure to get The Works. I had the simple cheese and vodka sauce. The sauce was so nice and the crust was splendid. Crusty, thick, light. This place does Detroit style/grandma pies really well. I’ll definitely be back, especially since they have half of slices in the fridge for take away.

Popped into The Slice Shop for a quick slice of pizza. I ended up ordering the Buffalo Chicken and Pepperoni/Sausage Pizza. The pizza was good but not great. Service was quick and easy though!

Stopped late at night for some pizza during my trip with my brothers to give it a shot and it did not disappoint. If you’re in the area and are feeling hungry or craving pizza give it a try. We ordered two pepperoni slices and had one drizzled with hot honey, they were so delicious even after we walked to our airbnb to eat it. They heat it up for you and have some neat customization options to choose from. If you live in Chicago and haven’t tried it I would make an effort to drop by and have a slice. The place is clean and has dine-in options, plus the customer service was great. It is located near the red line belmont stop.

This is my new sliced-pizza spot! The dough is fluffy with crunchy (not burnt) bottom that holds the toppings until the last bite. I love that they add fresh basil, hot honey, chili oil and crushed chili flakes on any topping free of charge! The tomato base tasted fresh and is not overly seasoned.
Next to the beverage fridge, they also have day-old slices for 1/2 of the regular price for to-go too!

One of my favorite new pizza spots! It was pleasantly affordable for by-the-slice pizza options and had a good selection. Very filling and tasted great— 2 slices left me full when I was pretty hungry.

A win in my book for great Chicago by the slice spots. These delicious squares best Detroit style (Jets). These “Grandma” style slices are edge to edge crispy. They serve tomato soup, but they’re always out when I go! I want that combo! Go try them. You won’t be disappointed. The service was great too. The young man at the front counter was a gentleman and brought our slices to our table. They can get busy and heating your slices might take a moment, but it is well worth it.
