Update: day 5 I spoke with the manager Brandon, he was helpful and explained they’ve never had to refund an online order but he would look into it and asked me to call back the next day after 5 when he gets in and he should have this taken care of. I do as I was asked but unfortunately just as things looked up, I call back and spoke with the Jamie, the escalator. The situation was fine, until Jamie took offense to my review here and began to call me a liar regarding the mistaken online order and refused to let me speak with Brandon, refused to give me her name and told me Brandon would follow up with me later and did her best to stay vague and talk down to me while “helping me”. As shocked as I was I asked for her name, she refused and continued to speak over me and hung up on me. As my next call was to my CC company to dispute the charges since JAMIE refused to help me with, guess who called back with a completely different attitude and cadence, JAMIE! She explained the refund was submitted and I should expect it in 3-5 days. When I asked why she was so combative with me I received everything as my fault. It wasn’t until I explained everyone I’ve spoken with and ZERO apologies for the inconvenience, THAT is when she said, “We are sorry” begrudgingly. Moral of the story, good customer service goes a long way, so does shitty service too. I wanted to erase this review once the refund was addressed, I planned to make Brandon aware of that on my scheduled call back to him. But not after the convo with Jamie who clearly needs help with her emotional responses. Review my reviews, I RARELY do this, but when push come to shove and you feel like nobody is listening, gotta take it to the next step ♂️. Let’s see if I get that refund in the next 3-5, I’ll keep you posted.
Update: Look at that, less than 24 hrs after the request was submitted my refund shows up. I do want to thank BRANDON for helping, once this concern was brought to his attention, he promptly found a solution, I appreciate your help Brandon. I’d suggest Jamie to stay in her lane moving forward as the goal to help customers is to de-escalate not escalate. So if you order online, yes, you can get a refund and rather quickly when addressed within a reasonable time frame.
