Stopped in a few weeks back, Oct 25th. Quiet,not a rowdy bar. Bartender was great and made you feel like a regular. We chatted for a bit. I forget her name, brown hair,pretty girl that likes to hike I haven’t eaten there but my bf has previously and he enjoyed the food. Love to check it out during summer months.

The cheese curds were crispy perfection, and the onion rings were the ideal combination of crunchy and savory.

Best fried seafood around. I drive 40 miles to get the tenderloin clams! They are always perfectly fried !! I love the cole slaw. It has a great taste and is consistant. Friday night is fish fry night, all you can eat with many combination platters available . The prices I don’t believe can be beat anywhere in the region. The dining room is very dated but don’t let that deter you. Try it once and see for yourself !!

Awesome place to grab lunch and drinks while on the ATV. We came from Linneus and it was a 30 minute ATV ride.
We had the steak and cheese, BLT, and waffle fries. Everything was great, including the drinks! Waitress was friendly and attentive. This place is our new go to spot when visiting our second home!

Food was very well done, a bit like on seasoning but add some s&p and it was awesome. Had the deep fried pickles, onion rings, fried, tenders and pizza. All the fried food tasted clean, no old oil taste, and was crispy. The pizza was a little heavy on sauce but had a good cook and a nice balance of flavor otherwise. Topped it all off with some chocolate chip cookies that were crisp outside and soft and moist middle, a great cookie!

It’s been about 5 years since I’ve been here, so I was looking forward to going back since I had to move from the area. Things have definitely changed. The “wings” had a good sauce, but to call them wings was sad. They were more like chicken nuggets, or chicken munchkins. The only place that I know of with good wings north of Bangor is in Madawaska as of recently.
The service was decent and the atmosphere was average.
