Let me just say this the smell of the aroma in the air that i wake up to is amazing. I use to ask my cousin is anyone barbecuing downstairs by her apartment building because it smells soooo good and then she told me that was the bbq joint around the corner so we both walked to the slab. I got the St. Louis ribs and pork hot link and brought her the mini tips omg delicious, tender and flavorful and I appreciate the customer service. I will be back.

The BBQ here was so delicious. I had the pork rib tips and it was so delicious and tender, I really wish I had ordered a bigger plate. The fries were delicious, especially seeing that it’s homemade. Now I had a side of spaghetti, that was pretty mid, definitely wouldn’t try it again. I can’t rate the rest of their sides seeing that I only had one.
Other than that I’ll definitely be back for some more food and this will be one of my go to’s when I’m in Chicago.

My first time trying “the slab”.I ordered the tip and link combo. I spent $21. The link was so delicious and well cooked. The ribs were thinly sliced and full of fat. 2/3 of the ribs were fat. I did not enjoy the ribs but the sauce was also very tasty. I wouldn’t order the ribs again.

If I could give service a zero today! I don’t know what happened to this place but the service has tremendously decreased to nothing! I spent $60 today waited a total of 1 hour for my food. I hate when establishments tell you that your order will be ready in 5 minutes and then it winds up being the next 30 minutes before it’s ready. The cook behind the glass is very rude I asked him how long my food was going to be and he said if I couldn’t wait then I could get my money back well you can’t get your money back on a gift card it takes 3 to 5 business days. I’m just so sick of our people doing each other wrong have some customer service what you should have done was I’m sorry man let me offer you a couple of pops or something but you didn’t even want to give up on the pop I’m done with this place and I’ll find somewhere else to get my ribs!!

Just ordered a large tip cut small and barely got any meat. I got mostly bones, grissle & fat. I also didn’t get the sauce I ordered on the side or the napkins and utensils I made note of in the app. Do better. What little meat I did have tasted good, though. Also, the small yams are delicious and overpriced. One of the best sauces I’ve tasted in a while, but yall gotta do better.

My Barbecue experience the last 2 times i shopped with you was of low quality ( more fat then meat) I was too busy spitting fat out, just lost my appetite, Disgusting. When you first opened, Barbecue was nice and lean so I know you know better. I try to spend $ in the neighborhood but I Don’t support Garbage/ . It’s a choice.. No Return for me.

Today I ordered a large tip with mixed sauce, thru Uber Eats. When I received my order before I unpacked it the handwritten slip has my name with mild sauce . I’m immediately disappointed. I called the restaurant the lady apologized and told me that I could bring the order in . I told her what is the point obviously I placed the order thru Uber Eats because I could not make it to the restaurant. This mistake totally ruined my appetite. Restaurants need to make sure they pay attention to the notes that customers make we do not believe in wasting our hard earned money . We want our orders prepared how we asked for them to be. I’ve had previous orders from this restaurant where the notes were not followed. I have decided not to order from here anymore .

I ordered a jumbo tip from them off uber eats. Usually everything is good. But they choose to play me by giving me a large tip with a bunch of fries and hardly no tips thats bogus family. I really have to consider to stop ordering because if that happens again and I pay my money its going to be a problem. Ppl work hard for their money to to get played.

Husband orders from here every or every other Sunday for Bears Football party….its been OK not great …OK ….but today order was jacked up 2 tip orders were not fresh, mostly bones…..no meat …tasted old…looked old. When calling back …no answer. Receipt clearly states cold slaw 3 TIMES for 3 different orders…and when picking up specifically asked if there was COLE SLAW….got home NO COLE SLAW! You need to do better!
