Mr. Mark hooks you up with the most delicious burgers you will EVER eat. They may be open for a few hours a day, but it’s more than worth the smile his food will put on your face! We used to get out of school early just to run over to the Skillet and talk with Mr. Mark and eat. Great man makin’ great food with a smile on his face.

Wonderful little out of the way place that is well worth the visit. The owner is also the cook and prepares everything as you sit and watch and have great conversation with him. The food is fantastic. Not much in the way of seating-just a few stools at the counter-but who cares. Our visit was wonderful and we will be back.

Owner is Mark Harris, Chef par excellence. Forget about the menu. Mark cooks homemade food right in front of you. Warning! Do NOT say you are starving. You will not be able to eat all the food he puts in front of you, despite being the best food you have ever had in your life. Everyone who drops by to eat here is friendly. I drive an hour just to have lunch.
