for everyone complaining about size and wait are concerned with all the wrong things. from start to finish the service is excellent. Love the hosts and coffee bar team, the brothers Jake and Aaron make my day, and my girl Nina is single handedly KILLING IT. And the food…… don’t even mess around. Anything on the menu will be enjoyable (coming from a former big girl) they never miss the mark. Planned my next trip back before i even got out of the seat. So yes while the wait may be a bit long and you might be sharing ketchup with your neighbors, you will not be disappointed and leave happy, laughing, and rubbing that tummy.

Absolutely love this place. The Food is delicious and consistent always fresh. We usually order the same thing but we try to mix it up once in a while. The staff is quick and everyone’s friendly. Be aware it definitely gets busy but it’s worth it. Me and my bestie have been here several times already so I think it’s fair to say that we’re officially regulars

This place is a must visit for breakfast/brunch! The food options are endless and all delicious. I love their coffees and skillets. Their breakfast quesadilla is amazing and so is their pandoro French toast. The service is great and super fast. Highly recommend visiting here for great food!

We had heard great things about this place but when we went, the place was much smaller than imagined. The layout is not the best either. When they gave our family a table and we were waiting for or food, one of the workers there came over to our table with a tray of desserts and told us about the dessert, and asked how it looked and then walked away. It was SO weird!!!! I guess they were trying to promote the desserts but the way it was done, made it seemed like they were going to give a sample or something then just walked away. The food is ok but not worth the prices or overall experience.

Wow!! This has to be my new favorite brunch spot! We sat outside and even on this hot 90 degree day the atmosphere was great. My partner and I ordered a lot of food to split and we left feeling so full and satisfied. The organic juice they have from Giffy’s was so refreshing. We ordered the Skillet breakfast sandwich (minus bacon and subbed beyond sausage as I don’t eat meat) and it was outstanding. The crunch from the hash brown and fresh eggs really stood out. We also shared the classic pancakes which were fluffy and not overly sweet. My partner had a Cali Benedict special that he loved and looked really fresh. We were really full, but couldn’t resist trying the beignets. (I never say no to a good sweet treat). Safe to say they did not disappoint. They were extra light and not too oily were over fried. we were really impressed with the food and service. Prices were on the higher end for brunch, but the quality and portions were worth it. Our server was Nick! Highly recommend!

Our second visit, because first ome was so good
The outdoor seating is wonderful casual, with live singer , no less.
Inside is bustling with energy too
We had bistro choice 4 iced lattes and each one was super rich, delicious and sugar high
Breakfast egg rolls are giant and yummy
Meat lovers omelet comes with hash,, apple pork sausage and bread- highly recommend
I had noodles with stir fried veggies and honey glazed grilled chicken. It was good, not great!
Word of caution: portions are HUGE, a mecca for big eaters !!
Loved it, will definitely come back again and again
The servers are the politest, sweetest we’ve met ever!!

The Skillet at Mounts Corner Road in Freehold, NJ is a cozy and friendly spot for breakfast and brunch. The food is fresh and full of flavor, with great choices like pancakes, omelets, and breakfast skillets. The lemon ricotta pancakes and bacon cheddar waffles are especially tasty. The staff are kind and make you feel welcome. The place is clean and has a fun, relaxed vibe. It’s perfect for a weekend meal with family or friends. Portions are generous, and the coffee is strong. If you’re looking for a cheerful place with great food, The Skillet is worth a visit.

My first time at The Skillet and it was amazing. Most of my coworkers have been there and I had to go for myself. I’m so happy I went, wonderful experience. My waitress was Diane and she was excellent, what a wonderful experience for my first time. She made my daughter and I feel very welcome to be there. She told me about the pistachio pancakes and glad that I tried it, so good can’t wait to go back with the rest of the family
