Dont bother ordering if you are expecting food to be delivered.
Delivery app shows food has been delivered but its still being cooked.
Only ordered twice and this happened both times.

Ordered through just eat the chicken in my korma is still pink and the korma itself tasks like someone dumped a bunch of sugar it is, way too sweet.

What a disappointing experience. Certainly not one we will be repeating. An hour and a quarter wait for delivery isn’t great, but we went with it & the Just Eat app tracked a car as delivering on time. When it didn’t arrive, we rang – “just cooking it now – ignore that map on the app it’ll be with you in 15 mins”. It finally turned up another 35 minutes later – in total 1¾ hours to get a curry from Cliftonville to St Peters … really?
The meal experience. Let’s start with the good stuff – excellent papadums and from there, apart from really good Bombay potato in the Aloo Gobi, it all went downhill. King prawn puri prawns weren’t great (same poor quality as main course – see below) and the puri was pretty dire – a bit like chewing on a soggy sponge.
½ Tandoori Chicken was absolutely cooked to death – for me it was over spiced compared to most others I’ve had elsewhere, but again it was the chewy dried-up consistency that got it consigned to the bin instead of my stomach.
King prawn tikka masala main course used the type of “king” prawn you occasionally find on offer in Iceland – not particularly king sized and tasteless with a plasticky consistency at best. The masala sauce was pretty much tasteless and more like a coconut sauce with red food colouring. Again, more went in the bin than our stomachs.
What a waste of £41 – we certainly won’t be returning ever again. I honestly believe the whole team should pop over to the Regency in Westgate to see how our dinner SHOULD have been done.

Food arrived more than an hour later than expected, and was only warm. There were some items missing, as well. Basically, it was curry flavoured roadkill. Would not use again, and couldn’t possibly recommend.

We always order from Simla. Always fresh, you can really taste good ingredients and made in a great way, not stacked with sugar and even though they have the old favourites, they also have an extensive menu of dishes you should absolutely try. We have never been disappointed and have recommended it to friends who also have become fans.

The last 3 times I have used this take away the food has arrived well late! Over 2 hours late! And it wasn’t all that good and cold! Every time items have been missing with no offer to refund or replace. Service is diabolical and I would recommend to avoid using at all costs!!!
