Went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Interior looked bright and clean. Seated promptly by cheerful server. Ordered some personal favorites for first experience: beef salad, chicken curry, and mango with sticky rice (acknowledging to self summer fruit like mango would be out of season). I was pleased our server checked about my peanut allergy and verified nothing I ordered had peanuts.

Salad appetizer had good color, correct temperature on protein (requested medium rare), and pleasing spice level (requested medium). Curry likewise had an inviting level of spice (requested medium) that allowed me to taste the eggplant and chicken. Eggplant cooked so well with firm-but-not-too-firm texture that I reminded myself to cook with eggplant more at home. Fried dumplings between appetizer and main were pleasantly crispy surprises, although I would have appreciated more filling and warmer temperature. Dessert went home with me and did not last long. Mango was actually just ripe enough to be pleasing. Sticky rice was refreshingly not too sweet, and I wonder whether the rice could be a little less clumpy and more loose for my taste.

Service was genuine and pleasant throughout, with my iced tea being refilled automatically as any customer might like and plates being removed promptly after confirming with me. The server was honest to admit being relatively new, and her earnestness would encourage me to go back as well as for the solid food offerings. Prices did not seem terribly high for the area. I would return if I had a Thai food craving, as this place conveniently provided a good experience.

This is the kind of spot you bring your out of town friends to when they want some delicious Thai food. I took one of my girlfriends here and we were both so pleasantly taken aback by the chill atmosphere, easy and attentive service and the amazing food. One thing I appreciate is that they don’t play about their spice. Thai spice is the HIGHEST level us mere mortals should attempt but not without warning. For truly terrifying individuals, there exists double Thai spicy. My advice is do not undertake anything in the Thai Spice realm without a Thai milk tea and upmost serious love and appreciation for spicy.

Our recommendations are as follows:
•Extreme Drunken Noodles (can’t go wrong with an “Thai” classic. Although next time, we will go the more authentic route with a dish from their “Thai-licious” menu) with beef.
•Street wings (these sweet spicy wings were BOMB. We got medium spicy)
•Thai Tea (this milky classic was a perfect addition to our hot dishes)

The place was super clean, pleasant, not crowded at all on a Sunday afternoon/early evening. Staff were informative and attentive. It happened to be my birthday and they brought out an extra treat. I feel lucky to have found such a sweet spot!

I eat hot Cheetos and usually get the spiciest dish on most menus. I was not afraid and I got Thai Spice for my entree. I have never had something so hot and it took me a few Thai teas to handle it. As someone who rarely sweats, I am happy to be perspiring for the first time. Next time however, I will be going with Hot instead of Thai spice lol. Can’t wait to come back again!

If Miami mo-busters owned a Thai eatery in Northern VA, this place would be it. Tropical vibe, Miami/Cuban aesthetic, and lots of fish on the menu. There was a halfway decent wine menu as well! I ordered the drunken noodles (Thai spicy), but the noodles weren’t really spicy at all. My friend ordered a variety of things and was overall satisfied with what was ordered, although it wasn’t the greatest.

We were the only people inside the restaurant and it didn’t seem like they were taking online orders… we were there for an hour or so and didn’t see any delivery guys show up. Definitely a lost revenue source since the food was fairly decent.

But anyways, I was happy also with the complimentary spring roll and small salad.

I am a thai cuisine reviewer, i travel around NVA, DC, and MD trying the best thai food. I stopped at this place for dinner and was seated quickly and served efficiently. I ordered Tom Yum Shrimp, fried calamari and drunken noodles. The appetizers were excellent and tasty, The entree was not. I am disappointed to say that this place does not know how to make authentic drunken noodles. Their drunken noodles lacked spices and it was like i was eating a drunken noodle made by a rookie chef. I hope they do something about the drunken noodles as soon as possible.

Great food – just wishing it was a little cheaper.

I got carry out from them and the experience was smooth. They were almost overly concerned/aggressive about making sure I had the silverware I needed (which I did not need).

Walking out I was actually quite skeptical. The bag felt very small, especially for the $15+ price tag. But I got home and was pleasantly surprised that it was a pretty normal sized portion. But best of all is that the Ka Prao was cooked how it should have been. It wasn’t watery and tasteless like you sometimes get from bad Thai restaurants. The beef didn’t taste like they boiled it. It was good stuff.

And most impressive to me was that they actually made it kind of spicy for “Thai spicy”; I ask for 15 lines of hot sauce at Halal guys for spice reference. This was not that hot – but a lot times when I ask for Thai spicy I can’t even tell they tried to make it spicier. But they made it hot enough to give me some burn – a good burn – exactly what I wanted.

Place looked nice inside too. Nice enough place you could go on a date to.

All in all I just wish it was cheaper. I can’t afford to eat $15 dinners daily.

Before I give them my review, I have to tell you my background first. I am Thai, and was born and raised in Thailand until I was 28 and moved here.

This is the worst I have had so far of any thai food in this area. I order R5 -paradise fried rice ($17). The plate was really really sweet from the sauce that they put on top of a regular fried rice with egg and top it with fried shrimp. I only ate the shrimp on top and a little bit of rice because I couldn’t stand the super sweet sauce.

My husband ordered Oud Oud which is thai Moo Ping (marinated grill pork on skewer). He said it didn’t taste like they marinated it in anything.

The only ok one was my daughter’s dumplings A18-the similan dumplings.

I also expressed my concern about my food with our server. He just said sorry and didn’t even offer to fix the plate for me

I really enjoy the food here and the aesthetic is really interest with the beach theme. I had the panang curry which wasn’t too spicy and has a sweet taste. It just comes with chicken and broccoli so if your not a big fan of a lot of vegetables it’s a good dish to pick. Over all a nice to place to dine at or order food from

We stumbled upon this place. The location is in a pretty busy shopping center. The interior was very clean and inviting. The service was a little slow. It took a while for the waitress to return to the table; the place wasn’t very busy. The food was pretty good. The drunken noodle and chicken pad Thai were delicious. Prices here were pretty reasonable.

This is the best place to eat Thai cuisine.
I have posted dessert picture for one of the ultimate tiramisu cake- our own way.
Panang curry is little bit on sweet side so if you are spice person like me than go for little bit hot side when you order.
Drunken noodles and cashew dish is ultimate.
It’s really nice place for vegetarian people as well.

We dined in for lunch. The decor is island-themed and they have reggae playing low in the background. We tried the panang and massuman curries. The panang had some good heat but not overwhelming. The massuman had a touch of sweet, a little heat, and you taste the cinnamon (some bark adorned the top). Lunch is served with an egg roll and duck sauce. The garden rolls come with peanut sauce. Everything tasted great and the service was fine. We’ll go back and try some of the other dishes.
