We, me, my husband, and our adult daughter, were in Troy, actually in the Yaak, and after a long, rainy, cold day, we were hungry, wet, and tired. It was getting late, almost 8:00 p.m. We checked online for places to eat. We decided up the Silver Spur. I’m glad we did. We walked inside and the place was warm and welcoming. We don’t drink so we sat in the dining room. Everything was decorated so cute and fun. The whole atmosphere inside was fun. The music was great, and even better when the live band began. The restrooms were even decorated so cute, with a chalkboard and chalk in each stall, so if course, my daughter and I left a message on them. The food was really, really yummy. I especially LOVED the broccoli cheese soup. It was smoky and cheesy and I could have eaten a quart of it. Had fun with my tetris tots. The salad bar had so many choices for toppings. The staff was so friendly. Our server’s name was Season. Isn’t that cute? Wish we could have had dessert but we were full and leaving in the morning. Thank you Silver Spur. We will definitely recommend you to Troy visitors.

I was ignored by the female bartender for about 10 minutes as she walked past me, I finally leaned in and loudly said hello, she was visibly annoyed and said it’d be a minute. That’s fine as long as you acknowledge someone but she continued to go to the individuals who had been served already and chatted, if I hadn’t already paid for my to go order I wouldn’t have bothered with it but I’d already been charged.

We have ate at the silver Spur restaurant on a few occasions as it is one of the few restaurants in this town of Troy! The food has always been undercooked and raw in parts or overcooked! The different cooks make the meals different also. We stopped going and drive to Libby to eat! The owners don’t seem to mind the lack of professionalism their restaurant has! My advice is to eat anywhere but there!

The silver sour is always a good experience. We stop here after all our hikes/camping in the area. August has been my server/bartender many times. She is always friendly and has great suggestions.

I will never go in there again. The waitress didn’t write are order down. When she brought it to us have of what we wanted wasn’t on are food that we ordered extra. It was over cooked. We told her that we didn’t get everything we ordered and she tried to blame the cook. When I cut into it it was well done I ordered rare. I told her and she again blamed the cook. I didn’t get mad. When we went to pay she tried to charge us for everything that we didn’t get. We once again had to remind her. I will never go back again.

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Eureka, Montana for a golf weekend. The salad bar was fresh and had a lot of options. We ordered the prime rib, medium rare, and it was well done and the seasoning were overbearing and left bad taste and smell in your mouth. I should’ve known better than to order a glass of wine at an establishment like this as I don’t think they go through much wine and mine was rancid. Our server was awesome. She was gregarious and friendly and funny. We came back through town Sunday afternoon, and there were a few choices for lunch, but we avoided this place based on the quality of our dinner.

Nice little restaurant. Great food and attentive wait staff. I had the grilled chicken on ciabatta with green chilies and Pepper Jack. It was very flavorful and well cooked. They were also very accommodating with my husband’s dish and made some changes free of charge in order to meet his dietary needs. I gave 4 stars because the coffee was terrible and our orders were taken after several others who had come in behind us. Otherwise a great place to have a nice meal.
