Super local. Super chill. Perfect dive. Pool table, darts, Juke box. Good liquer selection. standard beers. They had a gin I had not hd before (Gray Whale), and it was pretty good, so that made my day. Some of the clients have been there for decades… and some have stories 🙂

This was our 1st time here … Thursday evening … about 20 ppl total in the place. Food is standard bar food. Good but nothing spectacular. Staff is friendly but service is poor. There were 3 servers behind the bar. After waiting 10 min, I went to the bar & asked if we could get service. I was told they were in a shift change & to order at the bar. I placed our drink order & got a menu. After another 15min, I went back to the bar & was asked if I was ready to order.

Came in because we saw some social media buzz. A super nice lady came up to us at our table and let us know there was no waitress or table service and we had to order at the bar. I had the BLT and it was pretty good. Spicy Cheese curds were a little to greesy. Beers were all caned and my Old fashioned was good enough. Local dive bar with regulars, clean. We missed the live music by 1 night 🙁

Arrived in town, late. Not much was open, but the hours here showed 1am. We walked in at 12:20 and were told the beer would be warm and they were closing early. Welcome to Plainfield, I guess.

Bartender and some of the regulars were very disrespectful to me. I came up -10$ (after a long night and buying rounds for everyone) and this bartender brings several people up to my table to tell me I was short. Which is fine but she continues to badger me about it in front of the whole bar. So embarrassing and rude. I’ve never caused any problems until that night. I will not be back.
