Stopped in The Shroom Room on my way down to Phoenix from Payson. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and love the mushroom decor and gifts around the seating areas.
Adri greeted me right when I got in the door and I was very impressed by her knowledge of mushrooms and her ability to express the benefits and features of their many cool unique coffees, Teas, and drinks! Can’t recommend her enough as a great employee/person!

My friends and I were heading out of Payson but HAD to make a stop here. I was so surprised by how cool and grounded the atmosphere is! The decor is so wonderful, the merch they sell is great, and the barista’s vibe was so welcoming. They stayed completely calm as the store filled up & every drink came out perfect. We each ordered more than one drink so we could try everything. The coffee is delicious and the teas are refreshing. It’s so hard to find a good matcha latte but this one was amazing, the lions mane blends so well into it. I will be back next time I visit Payson. It was a wonderful experience and I especially loved the upstairs lounge! It was so nice to see all the Polaroids and community art.

Mushroom coffee, an interesting concept many have not heard of. When I first saw the “Shroom Room”— I assumed it was some sort of dispensary. A simple Google search proved me wrong, and I was intrigued. We stepped in before lunch.
The best way I can describe the atmosphere is strange. It’s a very old cabin, with two stories, complete with various mushroom supplements and memorabilia. The staff actually wasn’t very friendly though! The girl taking our order had a bit of an attitude.
They have a wide menu of mushroom-infused coffees, teas, and even some lunch items. They offer 7 types of mushrooms, with a form explaining their supposed health benefits. They also sell their own mushroom powder. I don’t know if mushrooms truly have health benefits or it’s more of an MLM type thing, but I was interested.
I tried the Golden Cacao, a non-coffee drink with turmeric and I added Reishi Mushroom. My Dad got a Coffee with all 7 mushrooms. Mine was just okay, not worth $9, and you could really taste the mushroom. My Dad also noted that his coffee was mediocre.
To me, this feels more like a money grab than an actual health store. I don’t think I’d be back anytime soon, but, cool idea.

Beautiful and comfortable indoor and patio seating. Great vibe! I really enjoyed the coffee I had and the owner was so nice and walked me through ordering. It’s not your typical coffee house. As the title suggests, they brew with shrooms. Much better for your health. And it tastes delicious!

It was nice and cool I rested for a bit and I dipped out. It’s a beautiful building log cabin. If you’re in the area stop by and rest your feet and relax with a good cup of coffee

This place is so cute and the staff was kind and helped me pick from the menu since I’m unfamiliar with mushroom coffee. They have lots of dairy free cream to choose from. I got the Payson 5 with macadamia milk and definitely recommend it.

This isthe only mushroom coffee place I’ve ever seen in North America! Finally! Thank you! It has all kinds of mushroom coffee drinks hot or cold from teas to smoothies, clothes, accessories and food. I wish we had a clone of you in Massachusetts and Toronto. People would love it. I even bought jewelry there. My only ask is to have mushroom baked goods or small bites easy to take to go. Great service by the way ☺️
