Excellent shrimp bisque! Owner let us sample shrimp gumbo and shrimp bisque. They also have boiled shrimp which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Only outdoor seating available.

Very friendly and cool couple, they was even wait me afterhours and provide warm and courteous service. There’s even some place for a truck and trailer! Shripms are giants, and the garlic-butter souse is delicious

This is my second visit to The Shrimp Lady and it will not be my last. I came this trip to try the burger. You may say a burger at a seafood restaurant in Satsuma, what are you thinking. But I was not disappointed. The Shrimp Lady is a small place that if you aren’t looking, you’ll drive right by it. But I promise, once you find it you’ll be back. This trip I had the Li’l Mike burger and baked beans. Both were awesome. I have to say the burger was the juiciest burger I think I have ever had at a restaurant and even though they call it the Li’l Mike, it is plenty and I’m afraid to see the Big Mike. I’ve also had their fried okra, fries and Gumbo. All are top notch and I’m already planning my next visit. Seating is limited to outside covered seating so dress for the weather.

Not the worst place, not the best place. Happy to choose a privately owned business. Off put by them asking if I was “with the Q” because I have a shaved head. The sour taste in my mouth that comment left made my food not taste as good.

This is a fun spot to stop in for very casual but delicious Dixie gulf coast classics. She serves some of the best seafood gumbo I have ever had!

Found this gem driving from Atlanta to New Orleans. Shrimp Bisque and the Gumbo was out of this world! Fried Oysters and shrimp were awesome as well. Talli May (the Shrimp Lady) and her staff were so nice and accommodating. She even gave us samples of everything we asked about. Will always stop here from now on!

Really good food! The shrimp, gumbo, and fried oysters were all super tasty. Eat the fried oysters there or open the takeout box so the nice crispy coating doesn’t get soggy.

We thought everything was good, but apparently the hush puppies that were with the fried oysters were especially outstanding, the best my wife has ever had.
