First-time trying and was surprised. The burgers were very tasty and well prepared. The Baby Raptor and Ron Bourbondy hit the spot. Our server, Emma, was very friendly and checked on as needed, wasn’t rushed. Its nice to have a nice place to eat then walk across the hall to see a movie. JAN 12th Update: the Scarface sandwich is near perfection. The seasoned sourdough bread with toasted perfectly and I enjoyed the everything seasoning. The ham, salami and pulled pork made a great combination. The raptor burger was equally tasty. This is a hidden gem, just a little pricy, but worth it.

Just moved to grand forks from the heart of CA and this is the theatre to beat. From comfy movie theatre seats (with reclining seats) to The Shire (with food to die for) i havent found a place across the country I like more.(Otr trucker here)

Got last minute seating at chainsaw man season 2 (got good seating!!) and was able to bring my food from The Shire inside to snack on. Both the theatre and restraunt serve beer though you cant bring your drinks across the hall, you can take your leftovers. We got the fried pickles (Tommy fried pickle [pickle spears]) and their boneless wings.

Hear me out on the boneless wings: marinated and hand breaded just before frying and saucing–none of that from freezer BS. 100/10 flavors (no spicey tho, and the mango habanero is flavorful, if set at 1/6 flames)

Excellent food! Catchy tune and lots of great artifacts. You get your own directors chair! (all customized)! Generous specials and right across from the movie theater. Great date night restaurant with my wife at reasonable prices. Non stop conversation starters on the walls and the movies and sports on the wall.

Tried out the Skywalker drink, it was super sweet but I absolutely loved it. The server’s were super nice and welcoming. Perfect place to grab a drink and some appetizers before a movie. I love all of the movie themed decorations. Keeps the room feeling alive! Definitely will be back!

Right next to River Cinema in the mall, it looks like you’re walking into a hobbit house. The curved entry is made of moss and twigs, and the door is arched and wooden. The menu and decor is all movie themed. Such good prices, too. Where else can you get a burger and side (served with homemade gravy too) for $13.99?

A gem that helps make up the crown of the River Cinema Complex. When you enter this unique and eclectic establishment, you are first taken back by the incredible 8 ft tall Xenomorph metal art sculpture glaring at you from outside the restaurant. An artistic marvel for sure. Above the mossy entry Gollum darts his beady eyes about. The aroma of delicious food greets you, as your eyes take in the dozens and dozens of different cinema memorabilia. A giant metal Predator sculpture towers above the room, wrist blades out and mighty battle axe in hand. From star wars, to marvel, to the original Universal Dark Universe, this restaurant has a piece of it.

The menu is something of pure comedy. The amount of time and effort put into curating the name of each dish to fit that of a movie character or dialogue line shows as you giggle to yourself (or put loud like I did lol ). I had The Ron Bourbondy Burger with onion rings. The wife had the Porky’s pulled pork sandwich and steak fries.

The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and loaded with flavor. The Kickin Bourbon sauce is beyond addictive, but the goes for the rest of their sauces as well…. Their chipotle mayo/ranch has the perfect zesty kick to it. Their brown dipping gravy is thick and spiced like Grandma’s famous pot roast. I recommend NOT dipping your fingers in the sauce to taste, as you might be missing fingers afterwards . Use a piece of food instead lol. Their happy hour deals like BOGO tap beers and wells is a perfect match or be adventurous and try one of their film curated cocktails like the James and The Giant Peach Long Island Tea like we did.

I could go on for days about this place, but instead I’ll let you find out just how incredible this place really is. Bon appetit!!!
