Amazing atmosphere!! Seats on the dock, quiet, nice & peaceful ambiance!! Service was great, Darius took care of us and was super polite and attentive. Drinks were great, we got aperol spiritz and spicy margaritas. We shared the fried calamari 10/10 & the medium sized lobster roll 10/10! Dog friendly outdoors.

The Shipyard is under new ownership and is the perfect spot to enjoy a gorgeous lunch or dinner on the North Fork. Situated right on the dock in Greenport, tucked away around the corner from Preston’s is this bright, beautiful, intimate restaurant with additional open seating over the water on the dock. It is stunning. We were greeted warmly by the lovely owners, and enjoyed a relaxing, wonderful meal. I absolutely loved the mezzalune – house made pasta stuffed with ricotta in a simple, clean pomodoro tomato sauce. The pasta was like a pillow! We will be back. Thank you for a great time at The Shipyard!

For our visit to Greenport, three of us researched many restaurants before selecting two for dinner. We chose this restaurant for the option to dine on the beautiful pier. We were unable to due to wind, but it did look beautiful in person like the pictures. However, the food was another story. It was all an overpriced disappointment. For appetizers we got blistered shishito peppers ($16) and buffalo shrimp ($27). Both were ok, but not thrilling and the portions were small for the price. The entrees were terrible. Two of us ordered the linguini with clams ($38) and one got a salad with grilled chicken ($36). The linguini came out dry, over seasoned with rosemary and missing the crispy garlic from the menu description and picture online. Not to mention there were THREE clams with one shell being empty. There were a few more minced clams in the linguini but it seemed like canned clams. I’ve order this dish dozens of times from many restaurants and have NEVER received only 3 clams in shells. I also think serving an empty shell just shows a lack of care in presentation. After complaining to the waitress she was very kind and took our plates back. They returned with more sauce that wasn’t very tasty and the same minimal amount of clams. Still no crispy garlic even though I asked where it was. At that point we were starving and just wanted to eat and leave. The meal was a huge disappointment and for a $200 bill we could’ve gone to many other nearby restaurants and had a much better experience. Safe to say we will NOT be back on our frequent trips to Greenport.

Great place for Lunch/Dinner. Super friendly staff, outdoor seating with beautiful view, great music and good atmosphere. I ordered the clam spaghetti and my boyfriend smashed burgers, and tuna tartare, everything was really delicious. My only comment would be to try fitting some extra umbrellas on the dock for the sunny summer days!

It was our 9th anniversary on 9/19 and this place has been the subject of many of my photos of Greenport so we decided to finally try it out. Best meal we have had in Greenport over the years! The wait staff was excellent and very accommodating to us. If I had any suggestions, it would be to offer tea. Lovely views! Great food and service, made our 9th anniversary very memorable! Thanks for the rainbow!

The sweetest hidden gem of a bar in all of Greenport! Unbeknownst to us, we wandered over to The Shipyard seeking respite, a view, and some delicious cocktails. Upon arriving we were greeted by a gracious bartender and the super kind owners who happened to be eating at the bar, but made it a point to make room for us. The cocktails were delicious, the view was as promised, and the company was fabulous. Looking forward to returning!

My first time in Greenport and I’m so glad we chose to have lunch here. Their lobster roll was literally the best I’ve had on LI. Don’t waste your time trying them anywhere else as I have, save yourself the trouble and come straight here instead. We also had oysters on the half shelf and they were so fresh! They came with a red wine vinegar that complemented them so well. Their homemade chips were also great, we had to ask for some to go to my toddler. The staff was delightful, especially dealing with my son who kept asking for things. I will definitely be going back here again! And for those who like a drink – the watermelon mojito was quite refreshing on a hot summer day!

This place is so amazing. The hostess was so friendly and accommodating. She greeted us with such warmth, it was so nice. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the octopus appetizer and the salmon entree, it was excellent and flavorful. They do have a cute outside seating area but it was too cold today.
